I believe that you could really resell a single usable deck of trading cards for four grand. And that you'd take four large worth of cards and play with them at a sleepover, then leave them on the floor.

Get him back in EXACTLY the same way. If he has something he particularly treasures and just leaves it lying around, treat it like he treated your games and bin it.

And if he drinks and is a lazy fuck, play those cards against him. Argue that he does shit all and sits on his ass all day playing card games and that he is a failure as a dad. Get real emotional about it. A little bit of emotional blackmail should knock him down a peg or two. If he starts getting angry get angry back. Most of the time parents only raise their voice and shout at you for talking back is because they know they are in the wrong. Just persevere.

If all else fails, the subtle attack may make you feel better. Flob in his coffee. Piss in his bath. Put date rape in his drink. Put a link to a virus on his comp where he would usually play his solitaire. GO FOR IT!
