Don't Escape
I'm a werewolf and it's a full moon. I have to find a way to prevent myself from escaping.

I mentioned before I used to do pixel art as a hobby, well, I did up a quick 24x24 safe while watching Road House.
It was tails.

P.S: Would still like feedback on the thing I posted on the previous page!

Question
Hey guys, I was just wondering from anyone who has actually been to art college...
I'm in the process of putting together my portfolio, and I have a lot of traditional paper/paintings and such, but I was wondering if they would mind some photoshop paintings? The application says digital files are allowed, I'm just wondering if it's a good idea.
Hopefully I am good enough heh...

Great colors and shading on that robot...thing... :D
And as for colleges, I'm still a junior in highschool but I've started thinking about colleges and I find it definitely just depends on what type of art college you are applying to; obviously if you're planning on taking courses involving digital art and design, it would be important to include that. But if you're going to a college that just offers traditional art, they generally aren't going to want to see something they're unfamiliar with (ew my art teacher XP).

Thanks, my friend said it looks like a LittleDaddy(Big Daddy from Bioshock) but I'm intent on calling it 'Physical Bot' or 'Cough Cough'
Yeah, the college specifically offers a degree in animation, and thats what I'd be going for, I just dont know how much digital work to balance out traditional.

Didn't have any anatomical references handy, also the net was broken for a bit, so here is an imperfect alien skull missing a bottom jaw. Believe it!

I would put maybe 1 or 2 photoshop pieces in. When I applied, I submitted ONLY traditional, they are much more impressed if you can create colors and such without tools like the eyedropper. They like to see physical things they can touch and get very close to. From my experience, most professors frown on digital work.
If you DO put photoshop work in, I would put that robot one in. Your other pieces have some rendering issues and it looks like you didn't get an overall sense of shape and composition before you started rendering. The robot one shows quickly and accurately that you have the ability to work digitally, without over-emphasizing. I would also consider putting some linework in that one.
That's all my opinion though.

Nice. Great atmosphere and color. Though I feel it lacks some sort of foreground object, that would make it much less flat.
Also, NEVER PUT ANIME into your portfolio if you're trying to get into an art program. There is no more hated technique among college art faculty. I have a friend who is amazing at anime, which is not saying much, but because that was all he drew, he never got into the art program.
Not saying you draw anime, but just as a precaution.

Well, I agree and disagree.
I know enough not submit it, hell, I don't even draw it. But I still think it is legitimately hard to make, as you pointed out even though friend is amazing, it's not saying much.
Anime should still be a respected style, the problem is because of its popularity, its the most imitated. I dunno, I just don't think giving it the short stick is all that fair.
Anyways, thanks for the advice.

I can feel it coming in the air tonight, oh lord
Ive been waiting for this moment, all my life, oh lord
Can you feel it coming in the air tonight, oh lord, oh lord
Well, if you told me you were drowning
I would not lend a hand
Ive seen your face before my friend
But I dont know if you know who I am
Well, I was there and I saw what you did
I saw it with my own two eyes
So you can wipe off the grin, I know where youve been
Its all been a pack of lies
And I can feel it coming in the air tonight, oh lord
Ive been waiting for this moment for all my life, oh lord
I can feel it in the air tonight, oh lord, oh lord
And Ive been waiting for this moment all my life, oh lord, oh lord
Well I remember, I remember dont worry
How could I ever forget, its the first time, the last time we ever met
But I know the reason why you keep your silence up, no you dont fool me
The hurt doesnt show; but the pain still grows
Its no stranger to you or me
And I can feel it coming in the air tonight, oh lord...
