i'm against the war, but now that we are there and completely dismembered the only structure the country had, we have to at least set up a relatively secure military force for when we leave.

The Nation of Aztlan is a group that has a goal of seceding the southwest of the US to restore a MYTHICA nation called "Aztlán" that they think used to exist in present-day USA as a motherland for the Aztecs. And they know that they can't win an actual war against the US in order to do this, so instead they slowly invade our country via illegal immigration, then their children will be US citizens and therefore have voting rights, and who will soon become the majority in the areas they want to steal from our country. They are using are own decency against us.

Why would they need to actually go up in arms to do this when they are already invading our country with a battalion worth of illegal immigrants every day (2000-5000) and equivalent to hundreds of divisions every year? I'm not saying that all illegal immigrants come here with the idea to destroy our country, but if they DID eventually all unite to secede from the US, what could possibly stop them when they make up almost 1/10th of our country?

Even if its a long shot to think they can succeed in doing this, it's still treason because this IS their goal.

And the funny thing is, people like fli defend them by pretending that it's just a group that "empowers" their Hispanic ethnic group. When really, The Nation of Aztlan is a racist, ethnic nationalistic organization very similar to the Nazis.

Sorry I am late. My view is that it is fine to protest anything, but not OK to protest while wanting a form of government that does not allow it. My view of the war is this: No matter what anyone says, we must save Iraq. Hopefully we can before 08. I am praying and hoping. Democracy will lead to prosperity in Iraq. I dislike socialists and communists because they claim their "rights" while wanting to remake government.

I grew up in a liberal town, with liberal kids. And I have a liberal family. I would be considered 'emo' and a geek. I am not too sure of the future. But I know good from evil. Civilains in Iraq, children, families. If we leave because we are tired, it will be another mistake. We need to help Iraq. We need to help the middle east. The poor people growing up there, warfare, lack of education, starvation. All because of fanatism. We can end it. We can give all the people equal rights. We can, if we hold on for just a bit longer, finally, and totally,have peace.

But sadly, some wish to gain power, and wish to gain it by controlling media, entertainment, and even our schools.

Thats my view on the war. Like it, or mock it. We have the right to do it, unlike those in the middle east.

I ,like everyone else here was told we were going in that country to get rid of the Taliban & Ossamma's terrorist training camps. IT doesn't appear to be that big a country & with the techno satilite stuff the U.S. military has if they can't locate , and target these remote areas I think were just in there as a bunch of targets. We'll never get rid of them on foot, so we're going to be there for a long time.
