For all of those people who felt that us fighting this war and shedding innocent blood was in the name of oil, I have a great idea....boycott it. You clearly had a lot to say about it before and now that we have pretty much claimed victory all of your tunes will have changed. I would love to know how many people are actually boycotting oil.......probably 0 people. We are going to accomplish a lot in the next few years. I can't wait until we help in establishing a state for both Irael and Palestinia.

Because 2,000 years of "For God so loved the world" doesn't trump 1.2 million years of "Survival of the Fittest."

Since when was oil an Iraqi product? And no boycotting it would have absoulutely nothing to do with stopping the war.

Not Iraq.
Actually, a lot of electricity is produced by water if you can believe that or not (I visited a power plant in 8th grade. lol). And no one would have to boycott oil if we used electric cars anyway. When oil is used, there is very little of it.
There. I thought of it.

LOL I skate or run everywhere I go. I've owned a car before and it was fun while it lasted but I realised I really don't need it, it's better for me if I use my own tools to get around.
And yes.. where I'm from the VAST Majority of electricity is generated by Hydro Electric dams so hahaha

It's amazing how many people say this if you admit that America has done some crappy stuff in the past.
Well let me tell you. Loving your country doesn't mean you have to pretend that it's perfect or deny that it's done no wrong. Really loving your country means that you recognize it's problems and then you try to do something to fix it.
I love my country. That is why it makes me so upset when I hear or see what America is doing now and some of the things it has done in the past.
I think we can stop making mistakes like this if we can help make the America people more aware of what's going on.
It's like I always say:
"You help your team more by playing in the game than just by cheering in the sidelines."
Just like you help your country more by trying to fix or help it's problems than by denying that they even exist (and just "cheer it on").
However, in order to help your countries problems or mistakes, you must first realize that they exist.
That is where I stand.

Yes, one must admit that no one is perfect, but I believe that he's referring to the ignorant wannabe-anarchist/communist 'punks' out there that are like "We hate America! Down with Bush!" and can't give you a single well-thought argument why. They think it's the cool thing to think and say since all their whiny, wannabe-rebel friends do it.

You can't generalize that all people who hate America "have nothing valid behind their feelings."
Also, some of the people I know who truly hate America hate ALL countries (that's pretty much what anarchy is). So, it's unlikely that they'd bother "going somewhere else."
I understand your points. I'm just saying. ^_^

Not all anarchists hate every country. I'm an anarchist and I don't hate any county really, just certain goverment policies. Anarchy isn't about hatred it's about self responsibility.
And I didn't think you were attacking me Ninja, read the DAG's purpose, sometimes we have to be abrasive. Besides it is fun.

Most of the opinions I hear touted around here don't have much support. "I hate Bush because he's....uhhh....stupid! Yeah....stupid...."

I was talking about the hate-America youth that loves to wear those circle-A patches on their jackets and such. That's why I said "wannabe Anerachists." They're really just kids who think that listening to punk music and hating all authority makes them 'cool' somehow.

In Quebec, 100% of the electricity comes from dams. This makes for one of the the cheapest rates in the world. I wouldnt be suprised if we spearheaded the elctric car as a mainstream thing.

why yes im refering to the wannabe anarchists/general wankers----I spent a LARGE chunk of my life in the military and while there were MANY times I did not agree with policies----I also knew that despite all its imperfections I love my country. I honestly feel that if you think its THAT bad...leave and see how far you will get elsewhere in the world. Again no one is forceing ne1 over the age of 18 to stay here--and if your below 18=wait and then go at the first opportunity.
