4.09 / 5.00 12,195 ViewsWell, reciently I have grown bored of the music I currently have, but I can't think of any additional good bands I need to listen to. So please offer your bands so I may dabble and experiment in music I haven't been in before. Here is just some general information about music I like so you know what I am looking for.
1) I like anything from a country-techno remix to hard rock or metal. But rap is crap, and so is hip hop.
2) The band members have to be through puberty, so none of this tokyo hotel or whatever they're called.
3) Not only can you suggest foreign bands, I highly support it! I like vocals and everything, but I see vocals as in instrument meant to hit notes like any other instrument, not some method of applying words to a song for others to sign along to. So if the band has a really good vocalist that sings in a different language, PLEASE SUGGEST!
4) The faster the beat, the better the song.
That is about it. Please begin naming bands now.

Not as good as the first, but it's better composed and has some killer tracks, definately worth getting.
The Killers - Sam's Town
I'd say this is better than Hot Fuss, though I'd recommend you get both, same with Bloc Party. I think every song on this album is great, a must have.

Jellyfish ("Ignorance Is Bliss" is their best song, despite being a B-Side. good luck finding it though)

The Hush Sound ("Wine Red")
Sambomaster ("Seishun Kyousoukyoku")
Zolof the Rock & Roll Destroyer ("This Was All A Bad Idea" and "Argh... I'm A Pirate" are good songs, as well as their cover of "Ridin' Dirty" which is fairly humorous.)
JerryC (the original "Canon Rock")
All I can think of that aren't taken by everyone else.
You may not like the majority of these songs, however.

Cursive - Awsome lyric writting, but the style takes some getting used to.
Dirty Three - Mellow instrumental strings band
Dredg - They have many different sounds, their early stuff is like heavy hard rock, they later evolve to a more alternative but unique sound.

Gunmetal Grey - Very very good nu-metalish band, sound a wee bit like In Flames
Hangedup - Nice instrumental band
Jake Shimabukuro - Awsome ukulele player, be careful though, alot of his stuff sounds sort of elevator musicish

The support band when I saw sStone Sour live on Tuesday were called Flyleaf. I downloaded some of their music, they're a pretty decent band. I'm sorry and Fully Alive are good songs.
By the way, the band has a female singer, so if you prefer manpower, don't listen to it.
Hmmm, I'll try to keep it to bands you probably haven't heard of. I'll say the artist, their best song(s), and some other good ones or whatevers. My 4 favorite not-known-too-well bands from first-to-fourth:
1. Patent Pending- alt. rock band with catchy beats and unique-ish vocals
Best: "This Can't Happen Again"
"Lights Out in Mississippi"
"Los Angeles"
"The Safey of Sleeping In"
Also: "Decemberween"
"The L-Town Shakedown"
And basically everything else...
2. Wolfmother- Just like classic 70's rock
Best: "Vagabond"
"Woman"
"Love Train"
Also: "Joker and the Thief"
"Dimension"
3. Mudmen- half hard rock-ish, half Dropkick Murphys-esque bagpipes and such
Best: "Lost"
"5 O'Clock"
Also: "Animal"
"Underdog"
4. Mika- poppy, with very catchy songs
Best: "Grace Kelly"
Also: "Love Today"
Enjoy, hopefully...
Bassunter
Orange Range
Malice Mizer

Coburn(the guys that did NEDM)
