I agree that there should be a Term Limit. However, there definately shouldn't be an application process. If each Mod were to have a (6 month, 1 year, etc) term limit, it would help balance out power a bit. However, it could cause some people to become power-hungry because they only have so long to be a Mod.

I see it as being a two-sided sword. However, the problems of a Term Limit seem to outweigh the benefits.

Remember, if you want to be a moderator, don't make posts asking, as it makes you less likely to become a mod. However, I do believe that normal people should have a chance.
