What your doing is making strange textures with different colours.
The first one DOES have something to it, the second is garbage. I find the first one myself vivid. I honestly like it a lot..cause it was one of my first, it just appeals to me.
The second one, is just shit, i think it might have BEEN my first...

Something tells me you're just doing this with a photoshop filter or a brush.
Simply going by how these all look like shattered glass. And are all very similar.

Actually.
Having studied these I know for a FACT this is all filters and a brush.
Everyone. Look in the top left corner of his first image.
Now, look at the bottom left of his third one.
Note, they are the exact same shards of glass/crystal, except with introverted colors.
Also, on the third one, a bit more than halfway down towards the left, there is a distinct pattern of the exact same pile of shapes going downwards.
I'm not saying these aint pretty, but its clear you made them using preset functions.

I am using the gradient tool and some simple brushes. I told you, the stuff I do is extremely basic. Since I am just starting out. This is all just stuff I am learning slowly at a time.

And by the way, all of this is made from a brush set I found a while ago, and some other ones, I am using something else..forgot what brush it was...but still..basic still...

bleh, I'm too sick of this sort of over-done style of digital art to give you any un-biased opinions about it.
All you did was get some downloaded brushes, splatter them on a canvas, and color it. It's just way too boring and unoriginal.
And it most likely took a total of 5 minutes to do =/

I hate the people who created the idea of making their abstract renders into downloadable brushes.

It took a little more to do, cause I don't like putting shit on top of each other lol. But I guess you could say so, I am really new to Photoshop and just breaking in some tutorials my KSI buddies showed me. and I am tring them out, except I tweaked them a bit.

its alright but honestly i think you used the wrong colours, red and blue rarely go well together. try changing it using the hue and saturation tool.

Which is why I thought it sucked. Also, I made the colliding points wrong. My third one is my better one of the three.

Yes they are cool and I think they would make a nice background.
The problem is they lack orginiality. Do you seriously think you can post something like this in an art forum and think you can fool people with some simple photoshop tricks. I have seen this type of thing over and over, its nothing new. You people think you can download some cool brush and hit it with a bunch of filters and now you think you are gods gift to the art world. Shut of the computer and pick up a brush, lets see what you can do with that.
You came here for mature art people, not the general idiots, you want to fool people go post this stuff on gia or something like that.

Pleh, brushes with colors, like everyone else noticed. I wouldn't call it abstract, really.

computer abstract...does anyone even know what abstract means? obviously not it can be anything you could throw shit on a canvas and call it abstract and it is but it is crap. but he just decided to use a computer. if you don't like it why don't you pick up a brush and make your own hand painted piece of shit.
anyway it is good man keep going i got this set as my bacground right now keep it up.
