ok so...people from america...are called americaN
people from france...are called frEncH
people from china...are called chinESE
people from britain... are called britISH
people from the netherlands....are called DUTCH
after remembering this in global class a while back during a study on imperialization i wondered.....
what in the hell do they call people from congo?!
after much thought i just decided to call them congonese, but i am probably wrong
does anybody know the answer?!?!

Only america discriminates nationality with race.

Our identification has nothing to do with race, it's about nationality alone. I refer to myself as a German-Irish American. It's where my ancestors are from.

Because my family hasn't been here for over 100 years like most. You'll find many American citizens that refer to themselves as just 'American.'
Also the French Canadian is because they speak french as there first language.
It was just one example of how another country uses a nationality to distinguish its citizens.

But I think many people find African-Americans a racist name. Why?
What about Jamaican-Americans. Then you are classifying people from Jamaica in that category and it PISSES them off.
