typical chelsea though.
Blackburn beat Man City 2-0 to go through but Mokoena got sent off after as well as scoring rovers first goal.
still 0-0 between Plymouth and watford after 20 minutes.
I think Chelsea and Man United would be a really good game, as for the UEFA Champions League, A.C Milan should win this time!!

there is a separate topic for the Champions league and also, AC Milan will not win it, i would put money on it.

I'm sorry, when did class become a synonym for money?
Let’s just see how you do at The Lane. You’ve already lost here once this season.

Yeah I believe spurs can do it at least we will get some money on the gate for the replay. fuck the chelski boys they think they can buy everything come on spurs we can do it.
Well I spent the early part of this afternoon watching Plymouth take on Watford in a bar in Denver, and despite an obviously disappointing result, I think we can hold our heads up high. Plymouth outplayed the Premiership side (for the time being) for the vast majority of the match, and were just hit by a good strike from distance. If we can go on playing like that then promotion isn't out of the question next season.
Plus by the end I had an entire bar of Americans cheering on the team- it almost felt like home :)
Man United will probably beat Boro easily in the replay. Boro's away form is less than good, and United are clearly the better side.
Chelsea were lucky as anything to get a draw today- Spurs played fantastically. They have a good chance at the Lane in the replay, and Chelsea won't be happy with yet another fixture in their busy calendar. That might mean a weakened side in the replay, so Spurs may have even more chance.
Blackburn beat City- can't say I care much.

Supporting Plymouth tonight :D. Goodluck
I hear the whole of the South West had gone Plymouth mad in the build up :). Shame about the result, but we won a lot of friends on this cup run and might be seen as a decent Championship side from now on, rather than nobodies. A bit of extra money from the run is a bonus too :)
Plymouth for promotion next year!
Replays tonight, plus the draw for the semi finals has been made since the last time I posted, so predictions time!
Spurs v. Chelsea
Spurs deserved to win the first leg, and I think they have a great chance of beating Chelsea in this replay, especially as Chelsea are apparently rotating their squad from the one that won comfortably at the weekend. You can bet that Mourinho will be moaning about all these fixtures if they lose, even though Spurs are playing just as much with their run in Europe.
2-1 to Spurs
Man Utd v. Middlesbrough
United are on fantastic form at the moment, especially Ronaldo, so it's hard to predict anything but a home win.
2-0 to Man Utd
Semi final predictions:
Man Utd v. Watford
Again, United will be massive favourites, and Ferguson seems determined to emulate 1999 and get that treble again. I'd certainly expect them to be in the Cup final with a relatively easy tie here.
3-0 to Man Utd
Spurs v. Blackburn
This could be a tight one, especially if Spurs play in Europe the week before (I haven't checked the fixtures, so I don't know). I'd still say Spurs have more quality though, with Berbatov on hot form, and Lennon playing fantastically.
3-2 Spurs
Making it a Man Utd v. Spurs final. That could be a cracker!

Your predictions are are whack.
Fucking Chelsea.

When I make predictions I try and predict upsets rather than everything going to the form book. Anyone can say that Man Utd and Chelsea will win every week, and 90% of the time they would be right. It is picking those weeks when they don't win which is the challenge.
Anyway, the final is tomorrow, and I realise there is already another thread about it here, but as I made this thread to be like an 'official' thread then I thought I'd bump this as well.
So, predictions (no doubt as inaccurate as ever, so I suggest you put any money on the opposite happening)
Man Utd to win 3-2 in extra time. Yeah, I'm going out on a limb here and hoping the occasion will make both sides attack, rather than be defensive and boring. Joe Cole to get the first from 25 yards, then Rooney and Ronaldo to put United ahead (probably one from the penalty spot). Terry with a scrappy goal at the death to take it to extra time, where Solskjaer comes on for the winner (ok, more likely Ronaldo to get it, but I want the fairy tale ending :S). Could well be a couple of red cards in the game, in which case it will probably be one for each side.
I'm looking forward to seeing the new Wembley as well, and I'm hoping for a good atmosphere in the English pub in Denver, though it won't be like home.
Yes, hello, the FA Cup 3rd round is currently being played, what a magnificent time to bump this topic.
In other news, AHAHAHAHAHA at Everton, who are currently trying to shift some of the embarrassment by citing their 'vastly weakened team' as an excuse for their loss against League One Oldham.
We all know better though.
Give my thoughts form and make them look insightful.
