Life's good when you speak English and enjoy a high standard of living.
Two of the three best places for single-language speakers, by far.

What's the American Revolution?
Sounds like when the British Empire ruled a lot of the world, then let America and maybe some other places free so they'd fight for us in WWII.

There sill is an Empire, as the "Union" doesn't technically contain any form of power-sharing.

There is a war going on in you're mind. People and ideas all competing for you're thoughts. And if you're thinking, you're winning.

Why take it over when they'll all just flock here on their own accord?

Get over yourself. Any American who knows proper history should know that if the British hadn't had to cross a vast ocean to get here, their troops wouldn't have been nearly as tired and travel-worn, and the battle might have turned in their favor. :/ Such is the risk of having a colony so far away. Eventually, it was bound to happen, just as South American and Latin American countries were able to break away from Spain.

Topic starter, you bring shame to America.
I heard some call it the British Civil War, but I'm not sure really.

The English Civil war is a completely different war which happened centuries before.
