Yes, the physical evidence of Jesus and his actual teachings should have nothing to do with what you believe. You need to be told by some guy from Iowa who has a history of pedophilia. Only the church can tell you the truth.
Also, how can they prove it was "Jesus?" What DNA proof or what-have-you could possibly validate this claim? You pretty much can't REALLY, beyond the shadow of a doubt, prove anyone from back then was who you want to say they are.
And, if they do find the remains to be Jesus', and it is to be assumed that they are his remains, WHAT does that prove? That he really did exist? Not many actually DENY that he existed. And if they are proven to be his bones, doesn't that prove that he ISN'T what people believe he is? That he was just a man?
More than likely, the cave becomes a Holy site, a bunch of people think magic will happen if they touch the bones, and the world becomes more chaotic. Yay.
