I hate "America" (not the people) for several reasons. Its daft and corrupt political system, the country's tendancy to throw its weight around the world, its one eye'd foreign policy (The enemy of my enemy is my friend, its how you ended up with Osama and Saddam). I hate the way that it, ultimatley, uses it's military dominance to bully other country's into trading with it in a free trade agreement but at the same time proposes and passes laws to protect it's own industry.

I hate most Americans becuase most the Americans I know are like you, full of themselves. Most the world hates you because of your actions and the attitude of your coutnry, not because we're jealous.

The UK invented America, we left it during a war with you because we couldn't be bothered with it (we thought it wasn't worth the effort, we were wrong). We had the 2nd largest Empire EVER and the sun never set on it. We have made more major breakthroughs over the entire of history then America. Despite the fact we are a tiny fraction of your size we still have power and influence that, while it isn't any where near America's it is much better on the grunds of the size and wealth of our countries.

What? It's hard to NOT have an argument with a Canadian, Brit, or Australian when every day they repeatedly spout out false bullshit that they know nothing about. Heaven forbid that once in a while an America who knows the facts comes out to prove them wrong... Heaven forbid.

I do have a degree you imbecile. I have a Bachelors Degree in Business-tech in addition to my High school diploma. And next year I'll have my 4-year Military Science/Military engineering degree, and that will open up all kinds of doors.

I am highly skilled, highly educated, and highly sought-after in my line of work. I have been given job offers from Boeing, Lockheed Martin, Radeon, and I even got an offer from a Dubai-based weapon developer...So you don't know wtf you're talking about.

I thought I was going to make about $38,000 for 2006, but I made about $45,000 because I took on more projects. Even though I'm still technically an apprentice, I am just as skilled as my full-time coworkers.

Either you're talknig through your ass about your qualifications, you got ripped off with your job, or your country isn't as affulent per person as you'd like to think.

I get payed 60% of the profit on whatever project I work on which is usually $800-$1000 per project and I do 1-3 of them per week, and I'm very fucking good at what I do. If I stay on at my job, I'll be making 6 figures within 5 years. There are people at my work that are less-qualified than I am, and yet they make $200,000-$300,000 a year just because they've worked there longer.

Ok fair point, in 5 years time you will be earning (Say $400K because I'm generous) £200,000 PA. That is less then lawyers in this country.

The UK isn't perfect, but at least we don't stomp around the world trying to claim how we are the best and perfect.

A 20 year old who is still in college that has likley worked on his job for less than two years who claims a bachelors degree, something that usually averages even the smartest students 3 years at the least, in a subject (business) he has demonstrated no knowledge of and you are more qualified than people who have been working your job for years? And I got friends in business, that aint the easiest degree and it is very linear. You need one class to take another and this takes time, more than two years. The largest fleet seen out of Europe in history at that point was sent to the Americas in general and New York in specific and was first felt at the Battle of Brooklynn. Their fleet almost managed to destroy the rebellion in much the same way the rebels ended the Unionist cause at Yorktown by keeping Cornwallis in the city with the French fleet cutting off the sea escape. And the reason the war was ended was because of the same thing that happened to the US in Vietnam: the masses were not behind the war. Yes, but nowadays if you want to start and continue a war it's often very hard to gain momentum without exaggerating the truth and covering up intentions. At least here in America.

If the administration had come out and said something like "we are going to send your friends and family overseas so we can secure oil" or "we want to gain a powerful foothold in the Middle East" or something of that sort, then they would never get support. Sure, those are both some things that would be morally questionable, but it greatly benefits the country.

Now if we can blur these things with slogans and fear tactics and such, then so be it. If that's what gets the job done.

I agree with you, however, that we shouldn't go to war over such things, but I can see where, if the circumstances were a little more grave, that covering up true intentions would be a valid action to take.

That is a bit of an exaggeration. They aren't that bias. I agree that there is bias, but then claiming your own media is without bias? I find that highly unlikely, as bias is impossible to avoid when you have to discuss political affairs and wars every day of the week.

We sponsored Al-Queda in Afghanistan to fight communism. So what? Back then, they were our buddies. There was nothing wrong with what we did with the Shah, and we quit working with Iran when the Ayatollah took power. And that's also why we supported Saddam: to balance the Ayatollah. We did try to start a wor with Cuba and Russia, but what nation is truly pacifistic?

Also, don't drag Pearl Harbor into this. Pear Harbor was an honest mistake. Also, the entire navy was NOT there, the carriers were off wargaming. Check your facts next time.

If you're referring to something I said you may be taking it out of context. I, personally have nothing against Americans as a whole and spent a lot of time south of the border. Once you get out of the cities the country is beautiful as it is here. (don't like cities here either). Most people were quite friendly as most are here. But to be called a cunt by certain closed minded individuals who are too scared to hear the truth and apparently have delusions of grandeur tend to piss me off as well as others out there.
