When you wanna buy a car, and can't, who will you blame?

wait for warhammer online, it comes out in another 5-7 months and will be way better

the thing i don't like about WoW is that once you have maxed experience and all of the best armor and weapons, there is nothing else to do, when in Warhammer, you will have campaigns sieging the enemies capital

It's fun and it will keep you entertained for at least a month, but after that it gets a little old.

I don't see how people get so addicted to it.

In my OPINION, opinion being the operative word before I get flamed, I'd say yes, definitly.

is it fun?

It's tons of fun, it's by far the best game I've ever played in my life.

What do you do?

Well there's thousands of people to interact with in every server, PvP, arenas, questing, leveling, getting gear, etc..Imagine your favourite RPG, and imagine they've thought of every single possible little detail that needs improving and put it in WoW. It's like sex in video game form.

is there anybody here that plays it that could help me figure this life puzzeling question out?

This is the probably the best game ever made (Statistically probably too)...If you begin to play, there is a 50/50 chance I'd say of you becoming addicted. I am not, I play in my spare time and I prioritize everything above the game but, depending on if you have an addictive personality..A few of my friends never log off. Just a warning I'm sure you've heard 1000 times, but yeah, it's worth it on the whole.

Different classes? Seiging the enemy capital is almost the exact same as taking it with a mob of people/raid.

Answer to the topic title: Yes, of course it's worth 15$ a month, who can't afford that? The sheer quantity of things to do is mind-boggling. I just don't see how blizzard made such a large game universe.

I'm back...

yeah but the difference is in warhammer you actually get rewarded for it in some way, but i dont think they released that info yet
plus from a quote from one of the lead developers of it makes us know that the Chosen Magus will be one of the coolest classes in all of RPG history

It's only $15 a month, or about 50 cents a day. That's cheaper than a cup of coffee, which many people have daily. It's very cheap entertainment, considering that many people play for multiple hours each day. However, although I myself play WoW, I wouldn't really recommend it to others. If you have a social life, don't start playing World of Warcraft.

And if you do play it, just don't abandon society for the damn game. A few of my friends did that, they won't talk about much else any more.
And when Burning Crusade came out... that was hell.

I dunno, I don't really see anything positive that comes from it. I played for a bit, but got bored, so I basically wasted a lot of money, just to end up giving up on it. My friend Derrick, has seriously become addicted to it, and doesn't do anything else. We hardly talk anymore and when you call his house, he's outraged that you interrupted his WoW session. If you do just play it casually, then it's not worth $40 every 2 months.

You get rewarded in WoW, think about the massive honor. I would think the heads of the capitals aslo hold good items etc.

Why the hell wouldn't a lead developer make it sound like the best game ever made?

though that does sound.......interesting.

I'm not sure if it's worth it. It depends on how hardcore you are. Regardless, you'll become addicted and most likely lose your life for 6-18 months. It's an MMORPG (Massively Multiplayer Online Role Playing Game) where you basically choose a class (Paladin, ect) and you do quests to get better skills and weapons and level up and join clans/parties.

Believe in the lie.
