If u have ps1 or ps2 u have to get ff7,ff8,ff9or ffX. They're all the most kickass games ive ever played

9 & 6 were my favorites. I really have no problems with any of them. 8 & 10 were......ehhhhh. Kinda blah, but I won't say I don't like 'em.

My favorite was american version FF II (I think that's IV in Japan). I was having fun playing FFIII when some stupid cousins or whoever came over and stole both my Final Fantasy games for my SNES. My brother went to their house a few years later and took them back.
I never could get back into playing part 3 after that. I went on to get FFVII for the PC but thought the game was boring, unlike a lot of other people who think it's the greatest game ever (probably because it was the first FF title they played).
Now that Square and Enix have merged they might make a decent Final Fantasy game. The new one for the Gamecube sounds like it might be fun.

Not sure, like all of 'em, though after VII they start to get damn easy though still fun.

X was far too linear, til near the end where you go is far too controlled.

IX never really managed to get over the fact that the main characters looked like they were eight years old.

VIII, first i ever played so probably my fave, did eveything on it, an recon i could probably number among the elite at it, but still feel that the battle system is not quite as good as in others, and the plot is occasionally slightly flawed.

VII, Great game but loads of people say its the greatest game ever so that automatically makes me prejudaces me against it.

VI, or III in USA, Good, got the PS1 version, maybe the overall best but too many characters to develop for my taste. Though Kefka is the best villian the FF series has ever had.

Half way through V so no comment

Adored IV with VIII perhaps the best don't know why just liked it, plus really liked the plot.

Completed I recently good, sets up the series but no characters or real plot. Superb battle system and another great villian Garland

Overall, they all have their good and bad points, so i have no favorite, but think perhaps FF is the best game series of all time.

FF8 is actually stupid. FF3/6 is the Best.. FF8 broke all the rules.

VII is the best game I have EVER played. 8 9 & 10 are ok but 7 is better.
