Ever square foot in urban areas in Japan is in range of multiple wireless systems. And they have by-wire internet, so you can ride in a car and use your laptop to access the internet, and it always makes sure you have a connection. It'd doesn't disconnect and reconnect everytime, it is fucking amazing.

We need that in the US, that would be sweet.

We are starting that, my county has already started to put in wireless. and you do forget that Japan is the size of california.

Dude, the size of Japan doesn't matter. Because its in their URBAN areas. I'm not talking about a nationwide service that even covers wilderness.

In the US, yeah we have hotspots in practically every city, but its not the ENTIRE city. And they don't have a network that provides a CONSTANT flow of internet using many towers working in unison.

In Japan, in their CITIES, they have internet that allows you to have a constant flow of information even if you are in a moving vehicle. The closest tower you are near takes over seamlessly so you never have to refresh your connection.

You can't pretend that that isn't fucking sweet.

And the size of Japan over all doesn't really matter.

Ofc they have wireless Internet do u think the rest of the world is still at the stone age? :p

BTW 2Mbps internet in the US costs as much as 100Mbps here.. (i live in Europe) know it by facts and i have american friends who have told me about it. Also USA is many years after when it comes to high speed connections for public use. That is the truth buddy.
