What does everyone think of these new submissions?

Oh how I despise FreeWorldGroup.

It's your average flash game site full of user submitted content and a few games made the professional team that runs the site.
However, what bugs me is the admins of this site finding Newgrounds and thinking "Gee whiz, we can make a fortune in ad revenue by getting NG users to come to our site by submitting tons of our user-submitted games covered in links to our site."
Stealing up all the awards. And, no, before you accuse me of it, I didn't submit anything in the last week or today, so I'm not "just pissed cause your game lost an award to them". I've never had a movie submitted on the same days as them. And I'm not the kind to get extremely upset with the movie that beat mine at something. (Though I must admit, I was aiming for King of the Portal this month and had worked hard to get three movies ready to submit this month, and now they with their games made by other people -and a few made by themselves- have clenched it.)

What's going to happen eventually is Newgrounds will be covered in advertisements, trailers, and clips submitted by professional groups and studios that see it as a quick way to get tons of viewers.
Seriously, what's to stop Cartoon Network from submitting a trailer one of their studios has made and getting a free 50,000 views? Great advertisement.

I don't know... I just felt like ranting about this... cause it's pretty lame...

And -Pina Story- resubmitted cause the guy was upset that he only got Daily Fourth the first time and wanted a Daily Second?
That has got to be against some sort of rule.

yeah and I hope his awards can taken away. It's unfair for the other users. You can't submit the EXACT same thing to get awards.

My apologies. Apparently there was a whole mix-up with the -Pina Story- (just got a PM from the guy).
It's complicated I suppose. Hopefully somebody will clean that up (cause it's still not very fair for an award to be kept from someone else on one of those days because of a mistake).
Once again, I don't have anything in the portal over the last week, so this isn't a jealousy thing (I know that comment's gonna come up sooner or later.)

Also got a PM from FreeWorldGroup (heh, every time I rant around here I get about a dozen PMs, IMs, or e-mails).
So I guess I'll restate my earlier rant (I was kinda wound tight earlier. Hey, even Tom Fulp has his angry days.)

I don't despise FreeWorldGroup. Especially now that I've talked to them and they seem more like a bunch of guys doing a website than a soley commercial faceless organization.
I just get kind of unreasonably annoyed at times. (Still am kinda annoyed actually...)
Though what I said about how eventually studios and corporations will take advantage of Newgrounds (and some smaller ones currently are) still stands.

I believe that both Pina Story and Missle Game got the awards they deserve. They are both wholly original submission and is heck lot of fun to watch and play with!

Pina Story should have been flagged. Vtimesday was also pretty big dissapointment with uncreative styleless unproportioned cliche music vids made by everyone for their made up girlfreinds.
And I say this with close referance to fourth place and quite a few others I have seen. The only thing that added something new was Notorious's movie and that was submitted a while ago.
