Battlestar Galactica or Star Trek?

I'm finally able to admit that Battlestar Galactica is much better than any of the Star Trek series.
I even lost a bet because I claimed I'd never say that. Damn.
Why isn't BSG a more popular show? Is it because its on Sci-Fi Channel?

yes. I only watch that channel for there awsome movies. I actully have planned on wathing that show but I never got around to it

A "much better show"... Seriously, stop being a bitch right now. I like BSG too, but it's just a soapy, overly dramatic, attention whore of a show. Star Trek has drama here and there (just like any show), but not to the point where the camera needs to shake back and forth during a fucking person-to-person conversation.
I would go on and on about Star Trek, but you said you had a hard time coming to your conclusion so I'm sure you know the facts just as well as I do.

There's no comparison, Battlestar Galactica is so, so much better.
It would be pretty much perfect, if not for all the filler and a couple of rubbish characters (although as of season 3/start of season 4, the ones I didn't like have turned around and become decent).
Also, it's got Badger from Firefly in it.
