Rise of the KKK?

I recently heard on the news that the KKK is making a bit of a comeback, and I must say I find it odd that anyone in this day and age can possibly be racist. There's simply no logical reason to hate blacks (except perhaps rap "music" and it's not even entirely their fault, but I digress). Also, how can a group demanding the violation of a people's rights based on rights be legal? Personally, I believe that it is in a way a very minor and indirect form of treason - a group which could possibly put some of its members into government and attempt to infringe upon the rights of blacks. Sure, it's a highly remote chance, but we need some reason to make such an ill-educated and ignorant group unlawful. There is no reason why the United States should tolerate a group encouraging the disunity of its citizens, especially in times like these. Although the KKK is a small, near-laughable force, it's a black mark on the United States and should be removed immediately. How can we possibly state we stand for equality and equal opportunity when a person can legally demand that another should lose his/her rights as a human being based on his/her race? Don't take me for an ignorant moron; I do realize the improbability of such legislation - it would affect rights of speech, printing press, and the right to assemble, and this could be taken as a step towards censorship. However, there should be, at least, at the local level, some resistance to such a foolhardy band of brutes. Citizens should let the members of the Klan know that they are not tolerated, and generally frowned upon.

Well, the Klan seems to make its comebacks every once in awhile.

With immigration as a big issue, and Blacks living off of the dole of the gov't, I can see why the Klan would make a comeback. I wouldn't be surprised if they allowed northeast asians to join either.

i don't hate them. i just thing most of the are worthless shit. if i had to save an asian guy or a black guy i would save the asian guy cause the chances are that teh asian guy will help society more than the black guy.

pretty much. i mean its just safer. if you are in a ghetto and have to choose between two roads. one road there is black guy standing in a corner. in the other there is an asian guy standing in the corner. you were told there is a 50% chance of getting jump that night. which road would you take.

I would take whichever way got me to where I was going. I would dismiss the think about the 50% percent chance of being jumped as a foolish statistic ("statistic" in its broadest possible tersm) with no scientific foundation whatsoever. And I probably wouldn't even be in the ghetto.

yeh i would like take a short cut through a low income housing place because i needed to, but id never be there in the first place

black people are put down through history, discrimination continues, still poor.. dog the bounty hunter teaches that with poverty there is crime. there are lots of poor blacks, disproportionate as if.

i know lots of people here, there arent many blacks in canada but a lot of them are violent and have some link to crime. i mosty only know black youths who are poor immigrants so you cant tell how their parents are raising

Why would I have to take the two roads? Am I being pursued by something? Presumably, I'm walking, or I wouldn't be scared of either of the two, so I could just turn around and find an alternate route. I'm very supprised that KKK is making some comback due to the fact their using illegial immigration as their new recruiting tool, but I'm sure they'll eventially go downhill like they have when they figured out the best way to take down the KKK was simply suing them outright and taking their money down the drain like they have in the past.

ok stop avoiding the question. it sounds like you just simply don't wanna answer cause you know the smartest and safest bet is to go with the asian guy. you will try to respond with "but your scenario doesn't make since" well you aren't supposed to think about it. its quite simple. take either left or right but one will lead to death. you have to choose between a black man or an asian guy.

Well just because your crying I will answer this logically. I grew up in the Ghetto and I know all to well that I would pick the asain guy for one reason. Most likely if they are going to jump me on thier own its going to be up close and guess what chance are the asian guy is smaller thus I have a better chance of kicking his ass. HOWEVER if they are both wearing gang colors I am going with the black dude because the asian gang memeber is more likly to use a wepon in my exp. Thus race has nothing to do with it but simply knowing what your best chance for making it through ok is with each person based on ther size and what you know about the gangs in your area.
