My opinion? Summed up in one question. Would the south want a white woman or a black man? Im asking you, alabamians.

Do we really NEED a black president? no. not specifically.
so we really NEED a female president? no, not specifically.

politicians try to use sensationalism to promote themselves, kinda like how the football game where the manning brothers played against each other had the hell advertised out of it.

if you vote on hillary clinton or obama just because she is a woman and he is black, then you are dumber than pigshit and should stop trying to think at all and just do what you're told.

if you vote against them because she is a woman and he is black, then the same applies to you, dumbass.

think folks, elections are like going to the store, if you buy what is advertised, and don't buy what YOU WANT, then you need to turn on a chainsaw, place it blade up, tie the throttle to full with some string, then fall on it, because you are not mentally capable of life.

who should you vote for? shit, you decide for yourself, and don't let anyone else tell you how to vote. that my friend, is the american way, and don't let nobody take that from you!

Unless they come with with some damn good agendas, I'll probably vote republican myself, sure Iraq could have been handled better, but at least bush has the balls to tell the democrats to fuck off, that he's running the show.

the president who makes his decisions based solely on polls in wartime should resign and hang himself in shame for being a spineless coward. sometimes, in war you need to make hard decisions, sometimes, you gotta do what you know is right, your competition be damned.

I couldn't agree more -- I personally do not care of the 2 are voted in ( as in race/sex) it really only matters if the person is honest enough to tell the damned truth about what they wanna do and if it co-insides with what I believe is right

well if it's gonna make the country better, why not?

Either way, the chance of there being another white middle-aged man as President this time around is looking very slim :)

It'll be good, I reckon, cuz it'll shake things up a bit. Probably not so much in the actual running of the country, but in the debates and arguments that'll surround it.

It's shocking that there is more focus on the mans ethnicity than his politics.

I think the news tends to over analyse things, it seems excessive to divuldge in his black ancestory

I like Obama, but I don't know if he can win. He'll definitely come closer than any other black man, but he's too inexperienced. It'd be cool if he won, though, because I cannot stand Hillary Clinton.

Through out of all the American presidents, I do have reason to believe this may actually be our first black president for certain in the US most-likly that he may be and most-likly very capable of fitting the job of the presidential office. First Black President should he actually get electied would most defentlly be on the front-page newspapers for certain, a defent-change for our nation itself.

In fact, the island on which I wa born had a 93% black population. Many of my friends were black, and even though they were middle-class, when they invited me over to their house, I could see that their behavior was different, not bad (in fact they were kind of fun), but different. By the way lower class negros are teh ones that steal. They've got a different culture, they're tribal (meaning they're close to a small group of people), they fight against other "tribes". Whereas Europeans are more individualistic and tend to be Empire-Builders.Their education is really different.
