uh...no not really
to be honest I did like the animation's styles but the jokes weren't funny...they either had nothing to do with the *humor* in 40k or had to do with sojmething else entirely

Luckily saltoric has a battle report thing that we played last week to tell u about (hurray :/)
I was using my eldar against a crismon fist/imperial fist army in a 1000 point game (i always play 1000 points). And we had this big building that i deployed in and the building itself was the only objective. my friend with CF/IF army had to deploy 18'' away.
On the first turn i casted doom on one of his normal space marine units and guide on one of my dire avenger units. So then my 2 squads of dire avengers ripped up 40 shots , 20 of them were re-rolls to hit, and all were rerolls to wound. So bascically that enemy squad was dead. While this was happening 1 of my howling banshee squads were running round the side of the building and accoupneed by the avatar. And the other in a wave serpent flyign dangerously close to his sternguard. He then shot all his units (3 in total including sternguard and pedro kantor) at my dires while lysander and a assualt termi squad was waiting to deepstrike.
My banshees form the wave serpent then got in combat turn 2 with his sternguard and won (suprise suprise) my dire avenger did the same thing again but didn't fully take down the second squad as i had taken casualties last turn. My avatar and other basnhee squad had gone out of the cover of the building and making a run for kantor's building. Then in came lysander form deep strike but without his assualt terminators.
The avatar fought lysander on his own but the avatar went down to 1 wound and lysander down to 2. The kantor squad was almost dead due to mroe casualties on my squad with kantor and a few marines left, then luckily my banshee squad which had flew over in the wave serpent assualted the kantor squad and killed the marines and put kantor down to 1 wound.
Then my banshees joined in the battle agaisnt lysander meaning the avatar didn't die and lysander died instead. Kantor died that same turn and in the end he didn't want to deep strike in his termi's and instead surrended.
So in the end epic win for me :).

MATE! well done there, sounds like an awesome battle. Had an epik win of space hulk last night, pwned my dad becuase he was follish enough to voluntire to be the marines. It is actually impossible for the termi's to win, especially when the genestealers are basically on an infinite loop and the objective is wondering of by itself. Next sunday, a spot of planet-strike i think.

thanks for reading my whole battle report i know how long it was and obviously in space hulk the genestealers always win but unfortuantly i didn't have any money when space hulk came out so i couldn't buy it :( i have been left out of all the fun ever since.

hmm....I don't play them and I don't anyone who plays them but from what I've heard they are a hard army to master (sorry for telling you that)

I think you need to balance things out as much as you can,and don't take too much of one thing in the army either

luckily for you mate i am the master of eldar tactics :)

Strategy 1 : Two FARSEERS with spirit stones guide, fortune and doom and two 15 man DIRE AVENGER squads with exarch with dual shireken catapults in. First tactic - Guide both units and doom 2 enemy units rip forth 22 shots from each squad with rerolls to hit and wound. Do this every turn untill one unit loses half or more of its men when this happens one of your farseers substitutes using doom or guide and fortunes them along with another one of your choice. Continue to do this and you will mow down quite alot of units.

Strategy 2 : You can use this in conjunction with strategy 1. Full 10 man STRIKING SCORPION squad with shadowstrike so they can infiltrate and an exarch with a biting blade for an extra strength(s). This should give you an infiltrating eldar squad with 4 strength 4 attacks at initiative 5 each on the charge and the exarch has 4 maximum strength 8 attacks at initiative 6 on the charge. This will rip apart any squad you meet.

Strategy 3 : You can use this in conjunction with the other two strategies. 6 man FIRE DRAGONS squad with an exarch with a firepike and tank hunters. Go after tanks and use all your melta weapons to obliterate them - easy. You can also use these to kill lone hq's as you don't give them any armour saves.

Strategy 4 - You can use this in conjunction with the other three strategies. 5 man SHINING SPEAR squad with an exarch for an extra attack with withdraw. So you charge into combat with 17 strength 6 power weapon attacks stay in combat intil your next turn but on the second turn of combat you won't have the strength 6 power weapons. So on your next turn after charging use your withdraw power (hit and run) and charge back into assault with your strength 6 power weapons or go after a new target.

There's no really way of being 'in' just post here every so often about how epic 40K is and you should fit in fine. As far as regulars to this thread go it's Me, TAUfanatic and of corse saltoric. I don't know about the others by i check this thread about twice a day so if you make an interesting post or ask a question it will not go unanswered.

The only thing that comes close to the Steel Legion in terms of badassery is the Death Korps of Krieg.

Out of the three models you posted I like the Commissar the most.
