My Death Korps HQ squad just arrived today, and goddammit, ForgeWorld sure knows how to make great minis.

Now, should I paint them with green fatigues with grey armor or grey fatigues and green armor?

Bloody love death korps of krieg might get when i get some money becuase they are pretty pricey but are truely beatiful modles.

I want to start an IG army and I considered the death korps but they're too expensive :(

maybe if I get a job...

the next best thing for me is the armageddon steel legion and they're badd-ass :)

before the death korps was the steel legion ;)

Yeah, Death Korps. are the most badass Imperial Guard regiment in the entire galaxy. Unless you earn alot of money, it's very expensive to get even a 1000 point, pure DKoK army, especially since you have to buy upgrade sprues separately. Might as well just get a squad or two and use them as vets.

Heard they are FINALLY getting re-released soon, my brother is going to go mental for them. We started collecting at 3rd edition and he has a huge retro blood angels army that just asking for some new models.

also looking forward to the movie ultramarines, nothing on the site yet but hopefully they don't butcher the franchise and then we can get a movie for each chapter

I wish GW would stop doing Chapter codices first and work on:

1. Necrons. Right now, they're very boring, and their tactics consist of move-shoot-move-shoot. The only people who really play them are the ones that like the fluff and looks.

2. Dark Eldar. 2nd Ed. Codex.

3. Better Inquisition. They should just make one Codex: Agents of the Imperium that has Malleus, Hereticus, ORDO XENOS (which should have come out a long time ago) and most importantly, ARBITES. Why? Because they're awesome. Police brutality in the 41st millenium FTW.

4. Codex: Xenos, with minor races like Hrud, Thyrrus, Kroot and such.

they should just redo what needs to be redone, blood angels have needed an update for a while now

yeah they could use an update

2. Dark Eldar. 2nd Ed. Codex.

DEFINITE:Y

regarding inquisition,I've heard rumors that its planned that they want to make one codez for all three branches
and for the arbites, belloflost souls has already made one ^^

4. Codex: Xenos, with minor races like Hrud, Thyrrus, Kroot and such.

codeces for minor races? that ain't gonna work out....
although there is an old chapter approved army list for a kroot mercenary army

Eh, I've been neglecting painting up the rest of my DKoK command squad because I've been busy lately. So far, I've only painted one. Maybe I'll post up some pics in the future.

Because after all, they are half decent; genestealer downed with a laspistol? Humiliating win!
