I never had one, but I do want one. It's called a Sugar Glider, it's a cousin of the squirrel and I guess at first there assholes but once they get to know you you have to keep them with you at all times or they'll die.

I used to have this type of insect called a preying mantis, it had sythes for hands, it was badass, It kinda freaked me out though.
