I can't help but notice that the majority of people here on NG (and America, at that) really don't like the current President. Well, just out of curiosity, who do you think would be a better leader of our country, or who do you believe should be the next President?
...My dad thinks that Charleton Heston should run for the next Presidency... heh...

Ive mentioned I voted Harry Brown for president(for reasons I have long forgotten, I think he was pro-pot, fewer laws (libertarian? sounds like me)). Of course, I also voted for Jerry Lawler (of wwe fame) when he ran for mayor of memphis (I thought Jesse Ventura made a good politician, why not Lawler?)

Bush should be re-elected because he and his cabinet are doing a very good job handling the current situation. A mean, they did a good job handling 9/11 too.

Pat Buchanan or John McCain would've made better Presidents than Bush, but Bush has done an excellent job.

It is like I feel that people ignore the big picture when it comes to 9/11. Bush planned out his venture as president long before he was even elected. It is impossible to blindly ignore the fact that he has taken measures to ensure his reelection. I hate Bush but I have reasons for it, I am not ignorantly stating my opinion. When President George W. Bush froze assets connected to Osama bin Laden, he didn’t tell the American people that the terrorist mastermind’s late brother was an investor in the president’s former oil business in Texas. He also hasn’t leveled with the American public about his financial connections to a host of shady Saudi characters involved in drug cartels, gun smuggling, and terrorist networks.

Hopefully Michael Moore <insert flame war here> but actually, I'd like to see Colin Powell try the job. He'd have my support.

You are nuts. Plain and simple. There are those who don't like Bush. There are those who don't like his domestic policy. There are those who didn't like his handling of the Iraq situation. But you seem to be, either directly or indirectly, accusing Bush of responsibility for 9/11. I personally find that to be insulting. Politicians do a number of shady things, but to suggest such a thing just... I don't know. You just need to have your head examined. Tell me the source of your "facts" (although I doubt it's a very reputable one).

first i gotta say how much of a horrible idea this was by u stating it...
but anyway u better put up some proof or god help ur soul...
also i have to say how i agree with ya... that somebody fucking knew that 9-11 was going to happen...
there is just too many shady links for there not to be a connection somewhere

Hillary Clinton would be alright, but she scares the hell out of me, and even as a democrat, I'm frightened by her. John "POW" McCain would be pretty good, too, and even Colin Powell would have my vote. Hell, while we're at it, why not make JudgeMeHarshX the President?
