yeah... but this is a drawing contest, not a photoshop contest. so anything you didn't draw, doesn't count.

Dude It's just practice with vectors. Put in a couple years and you'll be surprised how it naturally progresses to you understanding how to layer things up well within the applications limits. There are no magic shortcuts to getting good at these things.

What an awesome improvement over the scribbles.
I cant wait to see it fully colored.
maybe you could even use the rough sketch overlaying this one at a low opacity for an awesome rough texture look? just an idea...

if ever i can skip the pencil, I do.

What do you mean by Vectors? The only Vector I know is the neat-o stuff you can make in Photoshop with the Pen tool or w/e. I've always kinda meant to get into making stuff in there, even though I know it takes a whole lot of time. I wanna be as good as Stamper >_>

you have a pretty unique way of stylizing things actually its nice, ima redo-or not do mine because the composition isnt even remotely interesting or dynamic thx for making me realize that :)
