Haha yeah, that was great.
It was so fitting how when Jack woke up he walked through the island with his gun drawn :) And the famous "lower your weapon!"
Lost is also a great show. You should watch it. It's really good, but I've come to the conclusion that it's not as good as 24.

So I've heard. But I've neglected to watch it for so long now that I'd be lost (haha) when trying to pick up on the plot. I'd have to find someone with the box set and go on a marathon and get caught up before I could justify watching it on a regular basis.

Wow. Jack just... well, Doyle said it best. =)
Interesting cliffhanger. I wonder if/how it's all connected...

"Say hello to you're brother"
Possibly the most intense 5 minuets of television right there.

That episode was SICK.
Jack's kill count just skyrocketed. So many twists in that episode I'm still calming down.
I am so glad they brought Audrey back into the storyline. I really like her and Jack together, and I'm glad that they didn't just kill her off. I wouldn't have been satisfied with that ending.
On to bigger and better things..
That was the best fucking episode I've seen in a WHILE:
Jack single handedly took out like five people and the way he killed Fayed was bananas.
I don't even know what to say except that it was so awes.
My favourite part was when Doyle came in, looked around and said, "Damn Jack.."

I forgot to mention this my above post, but do you all remember the cliff hanger like, 7 hours ago?
With Logan getting stabbed and rushed to the hospital? They haven't even mention him again.
Anyone else notice that?

Yeah...he kind of dissappeared, since JAck is way more important.
THis season is pretty good. What happened to Audrey?

Honestly, I think they just brought him in as an excuse to give Jack a lead and they needed an excuse to kill him off, too. That's why he suggested seeing Martha. I wouldn't be surprised if they never came back to him again.
You may NOT want to read this if you haven't seen or plan on watching earlier seasons.
You know what I never understood? Maybe I missed something so one of you guys could help me out. Of all the people who have died.. they all got a silent countdown clock. Their deaths were pretty emotional and given a lot of attention to (Michelle, Edgar, Lynn McGill), but not Tony. In the episode where he "died" they're covering him up but they're not even focused on him, they're focused on Jack, but you can see him in the background. Then when they cut to commercial they play the countdown music.
What do you guys think?

Michelle got the silent countdown? I only noticed Edgar's.
I dunno, I've only seen it that once, and they played it up very nicely. Tony and Michelle had equally sad deaths but not as... emotional? Michelle just went boom, and Tony was like "shit fuck ow blehhhhh."
But Edgar had that whole Chloe thing going on, and his death was 100% preventable... since he went to go check up on that girl who got stabbed. And the whole time leading up to his death you knew he was in trouble and of course if you liked him you were rooting for him... the other deaths were just sort of sudden.

I'm pretty sure that she did. I'll have to go back, and check it out.
Maybe I'm just in denial about Tony's death. I think he's still alive somewhere, but if they bring him back that would be stupid. I just like to imagine that he's in a coma somewhere and him and Jack will meet up after the last season and grow old together.

This last episode was lacking, but I guess it had to be after the extremely kick ass one that. To build up the story for this like, second crisis.
And damn that Noah, back in power again.

I thought it was really good. With Palmer's brain damage, Jack trying to get the circuit board... But somehow I do think the plot will interconnect to terrorism in some way. I doubt the rest of the season will just be save Audrey.
And damn that Noah, back in power again.
Yeah seriously, he's overstayed his welcome. I think they'll get rid of him this season, but how?

Tom and Karen are going to take him out together, and then they're going to realise that there was never really a reason for them to dislike each other.

Then comes a lurid love affair, in which Bill murders Tom and becomes a terrorist.

Haha, but you forgot the part where instead of going to the next in line for president (speaker of the house I believe?), Jack Bauer becomes president and the world is saved from all violence and disasters and all that stuff.

Now that is a season finale I wouldn't dare miss!

I finally caught up with the most recent episodes thanks to my DVR.
Wow is all I can say. You think it would be the end with Fayed dead and the nukes in custody but now he has to face the Chinese again.
From the looks of the preview, the President seems fine... weird.
Oh yeah, I remember when the first episode premiered and saying that Jack better have some damn good kills after the Lost Boys Kill. After breaking a guys neck and strangling Fayed... he's got some good ones.

And his dad! I'll be mildly confused if they don't at least partially tie off that end. Or maybe it's the wild card for Season 7.

I'm thinking maybe he has something to do with the Chinese?
If I remember correctly, Jack's dad admitted to giving Jack to the Chinese in the first place. (End of last season)

That was Graem, but Philip may have confirmed it. Anywho, Graem and Philip were certainly in cahoots so the Chinese connection is a good guess.

Oh there Jack goes again, getting in trouble with the US government. You'd think after he saved the country five times, that they would trust him.
at least a little
Last night's episode was crazy.
I really thought for a few minutes there that Jack might be on his way out.
So Audrey's screwed up, and like doesn't even know who he is...
Bill B. is gone, but not in the way any of us thought...
Sooooo many loose ends, and only 5 episodes left!!!
Yeah I didn't get to watch the last episode in the usual silent, uninterrupted way I usually do. I had friends over because it was sort of a 'going-away' party for me. Also, we sped to the liquor store right at 9:55, so I missed the first segment. But I did manage to get the gist of it all.
I have a feeling Season 7 will be a lot of overspill from this day.

I was just saying that last night. I can't imagine that they can tie up Jack's dad, the Chinese, Audrey, etc. in only 4 episodes. If they do, and do it well - that's skill. I sort of hope they leave it on an insane cliffhanger that drives me to the point of insanity over the summer.

I own the first 4 Seasons and have seen every episode of 24 with the exception of like 2. Jack Bauer is my hero and aprt of the reason I first started looking into a career in intelligence.
Yeah whatever, how many people got into forensics because of CSI.
Bellum omnium contra omnes

Oohh. If you ever miss an episode, I seem to find that a lot of people don't know you can watch the replays online for free. Fox doesn't offer it on their site, but the local NY station does. (http://streaming.myfoxny.com/24/index.html)

Yeah it does seem like too much to tie up. Lol, a cliffhanger would be sooooo irritating. Especially if it was like with if someone is dead or not. (Which seems like a possibility, maybe with Jack)

That's awesome. It's definitely made me consider a career along those lines.
I am really looking forward to what happens! I thought the funniest part was when Daniels was like, "We have a bigger problem... I'm sleeping with her, too." What a soap opera moment! I'm glad he didn't let any feelings get in the way of his ultimatum. I was surprised at that.
My husband told me the biggest fucking spoiler of ALL time last night. I loathe spoilers, but he can't watch the season unless he knows every huge plot point. He knows better not to tell me, but last night he just couldn't keep it quiet. GAH!!! It's driving me crazy!

Holy crap.
That's all I'm saying for now...
I wonder if that was the spolier... or what.

I was SHOCKED when you know what happened.
Oh yeah, HOW CAN JACK BAUER RUN OUT OF BULLETS???
