I agree with topical paradise.

Audrey was never one of my favorite characters anyways.

I'm not too worried about it. I couldn't care less about Logan either way. I probably wouldn't have minded so much if they didn't bring Martha back. That whole subplot was just too much for me. Even Aaron was getting on my nerves, and who doesn't love Aaron?

I think Nadia is a trouble maker.
It seems too simple though.

It seems even simpler to have them torture her and then find out that she's not the leak.

Bill Buchanan wants Jack... BAD.
Exactly. Wait. What?

Come on... tries to cover up after Jack killed Graem, gives Jack the unsaid go to basically take over Field Ops.. pssh.

At 3/20/07 03:17 PM, DFox wrote: Seriously. I'm not sure how people can think he can carry a show like Jack can. I can see him getting killed off in the near future.

I'm not one to let peoples characters take over whatever they do, but I cannot look at Ricky Schroder without seeing a 12 year old boy. Even aside from Silver Spoons.. seriously. It's just not working for me. Who doesn't remember The Champ? "Let's go home champ!" I want to cry right now just thinking about it.

Yeah I agree with Zerok, it seems too simple. I'm not sure if you were supposed to, but right when it happened I thought maybe the mole is Milo, but then I dunno, maybe he was just acting weird because they took Nadia.

I'd tot be mad if they made Milo the mole. I think by that point they'd just be doing things so everyone can say, "There's no fucking way." I'd especially be mad if they brought him back after 3 seasons just to do that.

At 3/20/07 04:21 PM, TropicalParadise wrote: Audrey 'coming back from the dead' would be too Days of Our Lives for my taste.

We're obviously thinking along two totally different lines. I don't know how they're going to explain it, but I def don't think she's dead. It's some crazy conspiracy.

At 3/20/07 04:32 PM, Fremen wrote: Audrey was never one of my favorite characters anyways.

I love Audrey. I like the idea of her coming back more than I like the idea of Jack getting with his dead brother's wife in the same day that he "accidently" killed him. Now we're talking Days of Our Lives.

I feel sorry for Audry. She died trying to get Jack out of the Chinease prison, but died. Damn, that's so sad...

She can't come back from the dead if she never was dead :O :O.

The picture of her "body" definitely didn't show her face either.

Who knows, maybe Audrey is the mole.

>_>

To clarify, I've never actually watched an episode of Days of Our Lives, I value my time. BUT I do know that Days of Our Lives has an MO which consists of characters being 'killed off' and then miraculously coming back episodes later with some big bullshit excuse. 24 is too good for that, not even the OC, which was a prime time soap opera pulled that one. It's boooooooring and not surprising at all.

On a side note, I did find the scene where Jack finds out about Audrey's death hilarious.

Marilyn - I still like you. Do you still like me?
Jack - I was (am?) with someone.
Marilyn - She's dead.

How convenient for her, right?

I don't know how private their relationship was but Marilyn had to be clued into it before she stopped her flirting.

Hmmmmmm.

Seriously. I'm sure Graem gossiped about it over dinner with the fam.

I was wondering that same thing, and even still.. he just got back about a half a day ago. Geez lady, you don't wast any time.

It is a bit slutty but maybe it's just rebound. She's finally free from Graem, who she didn't love anymore. And Jack is the one who saved him, and she liked him before that. Plus, who wouldn't want to get with Jack? Wouldn't that make Graem squirm in the freezer.

Very, very true, but we like we said... she obviously wasn't Graem's biggest fan so why didn't they just get a divorce? There were obviously "something" there. Plus, she's got a teenage son (who we are all pretty sure is Jack's) so they've been married for quite a bit. Even if you dislike someone that much you don't widow someone and get with their brother (even if you liked them) a half a day later. That's bananas!

I'm not sure if there was something there. At one point she said the only reason she stayed with him was because of the son.

About him being Jack's son, I didn't think of that. Interesting idea though.

Then Mike Novic might as well parachute into CTU and sweep Chloe off her feet.

Seriously where the fuck is he?

Was anyone disappointed that the "leak" turned out to be an autistic savant?... and his brother turned out to be Brian from My So-Called Life?

I thought that was bananas.

What about Milo and Nadia? At first I thought it was stupid, but then when I saw Chloe watching them with her hawk eye... I found it flat out hilarious.

It was pretty good. I wonder what CTU's policy on intraoffice relationships during times of crisis and nuclear bombs is. It also look likes there is a lot of glass in the building so they'd have trouble sneaking away for a quickie.

I was rooting for Brady, I would have been pretty disappointed if he did get shot or something.

Haha. One of them will probably bite the dust by the end of the season or else it wouldn't be 24.

Seriously. Jack would have been like devistated.

So, according to bauercount.com, Jack got his 150 kill last episode!

Goodness. I wonder if he has to do lots of paperwork on each one...

In other news, the previews seem to indicate that Palmer's back in action. The previews also indicate that the VP's little harpy is ushering him on to commit terrible acts. However, I have learned to never completely go by the previews. >:)

Can't wait for tonight!

I'm not going to say any specifics just in case some of you haven't seen tonights episode, but out of every episode in every season it's one of my favorites. The action scenes were GREAT.

O btw, I just made a 24-related purchase.

I was browsing Ebay, came across this: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem &ih=001&sspagename=STRK%3AMEWN%3AIT&viewitem=
&item=110109567523&rd=1&rd=1

I had always know Bauer uses a USP compact, but I've never seen a cheap toy one until now.

Being a 24 fan, I had to buy it :)

So. Palmer's crazy.

HOW ABOUT THAT.

And big laughs at Fayed. He got backstabbed like a mofo. Serves him right.
Big ouches for Gredenko.

I'm also waiting for the Philip Bauer connection to stomp in on the plot and fuck everything up. That's been a loose end for a while now... and still no word on Logan... can we assume he's kicked the bucket?

And Doyle... seems he has some character depth after all.

The plot is certainly thickening. I mean, the nukes are in the hands of mere cronies. And the cronies always fail (well, almost always).

WHAT'S GONNA HAPPEN NEXTTTTT?

At 4/3/07 12:15 AM, DFox wrote: Being a 24 fan, I had to buy it :)

Niiiice. I remember my friend tried in vain for a long to make his phone ring like the CTU phones.

I thought tonights episodes was just too crazy. It was almost amusing. So much stuff went down that at the end of the episode I had to reel it over in my mind to make sure everything that I thought just happened really happened.

And big laughs at Fayed. He got backstabbed like a mofo. Serves him right.

That was pretty hilarious. I didn't see that coming. I also didn't see Tom bugging the room that the president was talking to his fucking annoying bitch of an assistant. Sorry.

I honestly forgot about Philip and Logan until you just mentioned it. I do want to see Philip come back and start making Jack's defenses a little more personal. As for Logan, I could go either way. I sort of hope it doesn't show up, because it seems to change the whole feel of the show. Plus, I don't want to see Martha again.

Jack Bauer IS 24.

Although, I'm not worried. Even if Jack Bauer got shot directly in the heart it'd be like someone else getting their arm grazed.
