Question is: Should I start with "the bends" or "Ok computer"?

I say the Bends. Most people who like the old Radiohead sound would have to be transitioned in chronological order.

As did I.

I got the bends not to long ago and I have just hit the "into it much" stage.
Which album should I get next, Amnesiac or Hail to the Thief?

Amnesiac.

Hail to the Thief was a disapointment.

Is there any vague idea of a release date for album 7 yet?

Both are great, but I like HTTT more.

Manson, Iron Maiden and Megadeth are about the only bands that i haven't already seen and want to see

and the headliners are shockingly bad too - other than Iron Maiden of course

but even so - Smashing Pumpkins > Download

I would love to go but there really is no competition - Pumpkins and Chilis are a couple of my all time favorite bands - and the atmosphere is just unbeatable.

I'm seeing Chili's on their own anyway, so I'm alright :P.

In my opinion in rainbows is the best radiohead album since OKC and KID A. It's really gorgeous and subtle. Songs like nude, arpeggi and reckoner can truly stand among the best of their work

I'm undecided about In Rainbows... It's good, but I prefer The Bends, OK Computer, and to be honest, probably Kid A as well.

Also, I've really got into The Bends as of late.
