That cool rev sound? Jan. 30th, 2007 @ 10:59 PM Reply

Whats the name of that cool reved sound in most techno and dance songs? Its like either a cimbal coming at you from behind, or its this rumble noise that revs up on you. I trying searching up "rev", nothing came up exept for car stuff.

Can anyone help me?

If you want to get a reverse sound in Reason work with the volume. Make it get louder, then gradually than near the end, raise the volume drastically.

Or just use one of the 2 reverse cymbal samples in the ReDrum library. They come stock.

Or just take any goddamn crash sound, load it into the nn-xt and set the play mode of that sample to bw.
ffs.

At least this signature is not obsolete.

FL is easier. You just select it to be reversed in the channel box or whatever XD
