Sure, there are many topics about "whats ur favorite movie" and such, but now, WHATS YOUR FAVORITE DIRECTOR? they are the people behind the movies you love, and make them what they are, so list some!

mine are:

1. David Fincher (Fight Club, Seven)

2. Quentin Tarantino (Pulp Fiction, Resevoir Dogs)

3. Woody Allen (Hollywood Ending, Deconstructing Harry)
his neuroticism amuses me....

Tarantino's a nerd-bomber, but his films are good.

Francis Ford Coppola (Godfather, GF II, Apocalypse Now)
Martin Scorsese (Taxi Driver, Goodfellas, Bringing Out the Dead?)
Brian Singer (Usual Suspects, X-men, X2)
Spielberg (Jaws, Jurassic Park, Minority Report)

"The End" by The Doors. It's a cool song. The theme of the film at that the war induces madness for people who have lived there too long and they can't let go unless they are dead, so Kurtz (Brandon) knows that Willard (Sheen) will kill him and he lets him do it because it's the only way out. It's cleaverly juxtaposed against the slaughter of the ox, which seems to suggest that once man is at war, he is at the same level as an animal.

Stanley Kubrick...(pictured) As well as Peter Jackson(Lord of the Rings) and Darren Aronofsky (Pi, and Requiem for a dream.) Not to mention Sam Mendes (American Beauty, Road to Perdition). Beautiful artists each and every one.

Favorite Director.

DOH! How could I forget Kubrick! Full Metal Jacket is one of my favorites, and Clockwork Orange and 2001 are MASTERPIECES. Also, each film gets bonus points for being REALLY freaky to watch whilst stoned.
