no, but i shall register soon... thus letting the voting begin...
my opinion is that you should vote because if you voted then WE WOULD NOT have a dubbaya in the office
actually u should be bitching at people in florida and only them, cuz that is where the election was won...
Yes it would have mattered in florida but if Gore won the other states IT WOULD be hello Gore...and he might have smiled too.
nope ur wrong... bush won the states bush was going to win... IE no surprises except florida...
Your opinion?
vote ONLY if u are informed... voting to cancel out someone else's vote is a fucking retarded reason to vote... same thing as civic duty... UNDERSTAND the issues and where those running stand on them... THEN VOTE

Voting is important. Even if you are just an individual out of a large population, voting is very important. I mean, even a minority like the young adults of Minnisota can show their opinion in politics, and they have; how do you think Jessie Ventura got in office?

I think everyone should vote, not just the well informed. as a self proclaimed idiot, I find that having an idiotic president agrees with my idiotic life. Why should the government be run better than I can understand? Doing things like "fighting terror" and "defending our freedom" sound like great ideas to people like me, and our retard election stealing (allegedly) president definitely fills those rolls. the only part of the election process I disagree with is the outdated electoral college. If it werent for the electoral college, people would think a "dangling chad" was a metaphor for impotence, instead of a serious threat to the justice of the american system.

well sorry im not registered... and even if i was registered i wouldnt vote cuz im at school in RI and i live in PA... why make uninformed votes? thats the reason we have the not best person for the job as presidents... (well since 1972 anyway thats when the presidential nominations were re-vamped... )
AND i think voting doesnt matter... lets not forget i ahve the freedom to NOT vote and complain... u may not like it but i dont care...

apparently some people do since the elections actually have a winner every time
my opinion is that you should vote because if you voted then WE WOULD NOT have a dubbaya in the office
if i vote, 'dubya' would have had another vote. gore would make a lousy president (props to nem for his bin laden input, i agree)
Yes it would have mattered in florida but if Gore won the other states IT WOULD be hello Gore...and he might have smiled too.
...ill just not comment on this because it makes absolutely no sense. if youre trying to elevate gore, just remember...'i took the initiative in creating the internet.' yes, gore actually said this. you think bush is dumb? how dumb is gore if he actually thinks he had any part in the invention of the internet?
Your opinion?
you shouldnt vote

Yes, someone must do. I cant because I'm under-18, but I'll vote when I get the chance.
my opinion is that you should vote because if you voted then WE WOULD NOT have a dubbaya in the office
You probably would. The same ratios would have turned out for Dubya.

Yes, youre right, but you cant go blaming people for Gore's defeat. I hate George Bush and I wish only the worst on him, but if he won, he won.
If Gore won the election then we probably wouldnt have a War on Iraq.

I won’t ever vote and I encourage everyone to do the same. You may think your votes count but the high government officials actually choose who they want. The last presidential election kind of proves that. You think they want to disrupt their plans for us by letting us choose our officials. I am referring to voting on high positions in government.

I didnt vote for bush, but I accept his presidency as valid. He did get 50% of the electoral college, no matter which side of the fence you stand on. Not all of that could have been fixed. Bush did have a lot of voting supporters. So did Gore, but Gore had a lot of nonvoting supporters as well (such as yourself, assuming you support Gore). Both Gore and Bush were pathetic candidates. I voted for Harry Brown, but I dont bitch because he was shut out by the partisan politics despite his intelligent views and well thought out policies. The people are dumb, so they elect dumb presidents, although I make no claim to intelligence myself, and think Bush is doing a relatively good job.(he was my second choice)
