It's not as much the fact that you used the pre-made samples..it's the extent you used them..like..you didn't mix it up with other things. For example the vocals and the piano were both part of the same pre made project, so really it was a remake at best...but not really because it's the same things. If your gonna make a remake, or remix...state it don't submit it as your original work. Hell, I used one of the preset drum loops back in 04' for Retribution, but I chopped it up and it wasn't part of the chorus or any main parts of the song so that's fine.

I would understand if you used the pre-set drums like the 808, 909, etc I have nothing against that, but It's quite a pet peeve of mine to see people create things that obviously didn't take much effort at all, then submit it. Yea, I don't mind you actually creating it, but when you submit something that took you at most and hour to make it sends a bad signal to other producers.

I'm not saying I'm better then you or anything, no where did I state that or imply it, in fact most people don't know about me or my songs...I don't even know where I stand. Hell, I've been making music for at least 4 years, probably more but I'm in no position to rank myself amongst people.

For most of the artists on here it usually takes maybe a whole day or more. I usually take at least 3 days to finish a song, sometimes more. In The Open took me a whole week.

Also, I have some other tips. Try and look around for samples, vinyl rips, etc. Don't use presets, stock samples, etc cause thats not gonna really get you anywhere.

As far as this whole thing goes...it's all Stealths decision.

So you know all of my tracks (Except Vocals and Pianos unfinsihed) took me over 3hrs. I had the demo at the time so it was a 1 nighter or nothing. So I took what was given and sounded good imho (in my honost opinion). I'm still a noob at FL so gimme a break will ya? I've attempted mucking about with the guitars but it always sound bad (As in the tuneing ect). I've had FL scince December and I havn't had much time to practice with it. Also if you read my last few posts you would have seen that a few other FL users like myself did not complain about such things like you were.

It may be there to be used, but those clips weren't made by you.

Because of this, it doesn't meet up to my requirement.

In my request, I requested all to put forward tracks they they felt were either their best or were considered their signature piece.

well the demo's you used, were neither made by you, nor, were they your signature piece.

So because of that, I can't put you into the project. You should work on making music that isn't obtainable withint FL, you should make them from scratch.

those demos are there to be heard, but, well they're really there for you to take apart and see how they were done. so they can inspire you with some ideas of what to do.

Well, I guess seeing as the ban is no longer in place. I think it's possible that there was some kind of mistake made by the mod, and they've since lifted the ban, I hope, in light of a mistake.

although, having said that it's possible it may have been justified, but I'm not totally sure, if it was, then it was due to posting in a thread to be considered as a spam thread.

I contest as to whether the thread in question is/was a spam thread, but whatever I will go extra careful in future. 14 day's seemed a tad harsh for the alleged offence in question.

but meh, one things for sure, I won't be letting it happen again.

Anyway with regards to the project, I will finish it soon, I won't rush it, but will work on getting it finished and will let you know when that will be.

So what if I was to change it to 'The build up'? That didn't have any riffs and I had to create it. Unless your talking about the fact that I gotta download other instruments from websites and stuff then count me out now.

Seems fair enough, I have nothing against this. I'm quite anxious to see what you can come up with. I highly suggest doing some research on finding some good samples, google is the first place to start obviously. Look for some vinyl rips, breaks, snares, kicks, rides, etc. You never know, might find some hot shit.

On yet another note...I'm still puzzled to how my song Blade - {In The Open} - NGEDIT can go from a 4.67 to a 2.80. Cade was also at a 4.20, and it dropped to a 3.62, and it had been on the charts for a good 2 months with many votes. All of a sudden I got "ultra gang bang zero(0) bomb super fucked" by multiple people. If you guy's would be kind enough as to help me out, that would be greatly appreciated.

Ok just to let you all know!

We are in a way waiting for Hiniberus, I'm chatting to him now and giving him some helpful pointers, I'm sure he won't object to anymore help though.

I'm working on the project at the moment and there's still a bit of a way to go. I won't be around this weekend at all, as I'm with the lads so I won't get anything done with it, at all this weekend.

I should be damn close before then though, and hopefully will be at the stage where I'll just be waiting on Hiniberus to finish what he's working and then I'll implement that.

and I know I've said a couple of times already that this thing will be done real soon, but I keep underestimating it and other things keep cropping up.

I'm aiming to get this all finished as soon as I can
