Actually, I've changed my mind. Why are you using frames? They're ugly!
Version 2.0 of the NG Logs website published. Some users laughed, some users cried, but everyone is having a good time so far...
I have three things to say to you regarding your post:
1) A PM would have been nice - no need to dump this in a public forum
2) Yes, it's under development - lots more to do, so hold off your judgment until I go public with beta
3) I wasn't put on this earth to please you. I'm developing 2.0 to be similar to Newgrounds, but in some cases, long lists need to be handled. I'm working on scrollable areas, and trying different things. I'm also working on cross-browser compatibility and display issues, and that's just a little more fun than picking a cactus out of your ass.
4) (okay, 4 things) Don't go off on me about using div, css, iframes, frames, tables, etc. and what is "right" and what's not. Everyone has an opinion - and coding style - and I use what I think will work easiest for what I'm trying to do at the time. It will be a mix of old and new, slick and dodgy, as I will be doing some copy-pasta and some new code as well.
Now, to the rest of you who read this: Yes, as I have hinted in prior posts, I am working on version 2.0 of NG logs. I just started this about a week ago, and it's going to be a few months before I'm ready for beta. I will be keeping all functions, reports, lists, databases, etc so no one will have to relearn anything - but my plan is to make it easier to navigate with a cleaner menu system, add some functionality to the reports to give you more information with better response times, and add some up-front statistics for logged in users. I will be moving to a wider format (your screen res will need to be 1024 x 768 or better), and, of course, a few more Easter Eggs.
And before I get flooded with "Hey, can you add [fill in your idea] to the new site", I ask that if you have some REASONABLE ideas, you can post them here - and check to see if someone else posted the same. I will answer them as I go, and not every idea will make it to the final cut.
Oh, one more thing: The development site is now password protected. No more peeking until I get the first set of code running....
Lesson learned: CitricSquid can't keep a secret....LOL
