To be honest, it's not a huge deal. It only happens once in a while if you're logged in for a sizable time period, and all you have to do is hit 'Jack in' twice to get back to your page.

There have been times when it's borderline annoying that my session expires, but frankly I've gotten used to it, and like you said, there's nothing you can do about it anyway, so meh.

If you read through the previous pages of this thread, you'll find that this feature was purposely incorporated into NG Log upon being suggested by a user with some coding abilities to his credentials. Essentially, the purpose of the example you cited, and also of its B/P counterpart, is to give you a visual demonstration of how close you are to changing your badge. Naturally, the stronger the future badge is, the closer you are to achieving it.

I for one think it's an awesome feature, and I've been enjoying it ever since it was implemented. The B/P one is the best, because it pushes me to B/P more to get that little extra bit of clarity out of my next badge.

I think you're the first person I've come across that doesn't like the fading badge feature. Unfortunately for you, I think Casualty is pretty pleased with it, and pretty much everyone else on NG that I know likes the feature, so I imagine it'll be staying :P

I think there's a small glitch with the time to next level feature, at the moment I'm 40 experience away from my next level, which it is correct with saying here:
Experience: 5840 (40 until level 24)

BUT, when you scroll to the bottom of this information to the "Time until next level", I'm supposing it should say that it will take 4 days until my next level, which would be the 9th May, but it says:
Time until next level: 0 year(s), 0 month(s) and 3 day(s) (on 09 May 08, that is).

So the date is correct, but the days aren't showing up right, maybe this is just something to do with the time zones or whatever, I don't know, but I just thought that this should be looked at.

I always deposit before I log my stats.

But never mind, it's fixed itself today, it still says 3 days, but 30 experience left. Awesome.
