Generally, not that funny. I've seen some of his stuff that has made me laugh, but otherwise, nothin'.

I'd say he's an average comedian. Some of his jokes make me laugh, some don't, some i just don't care. The only comedian that has made me laugh nonstop (literally) during an entire show has been George Carlin.
not saying he is not funny, just that he is not exceptional in my book, just a "good" comedian.

I hear tons of shit about Dane Cook but i still haven't seen/heard him. Not really big on the stand up comedy since Dennis leary stopped producing and Carlin got old.

I hate people who say SNL's gone downhill. I watched it a few days ago, and it still made me laugh.
Some sketches are always going to be duds. That's always been the case, even during the supposed "golden age" of Saturday Night Live.
It's no better, nor any worse than it has ever been.
