First off- I want to say that I am as tired of ultimate showdown as you guys are. I am making this thread because I have been debating whether or not to since it first came out. Now that I can safely say that Ultimate Showdown has completely peaked and will never rise again, I think I can answer any questions knowing that I'm not changing my mind any time soon.

I want to get everything about ultimate showdown out in the open, and some of you people might think I'm just trying to get one last starved bit of attention out of the whole thing, but I just want to be able to directly respond to criticisms and complaints and whatnot. If you still want to believe the former I won't hold it against you.

I will answer every question on the first two pages that fit my guidelines. I don't know if this thread is even going to get that far, but if it does I don't want to be answering questions forever so that is my cutoff.

My guidelines are as follows:
The question should be about The Ultimate Showdown

ie: "Why are you so gay?" is not a question I will answer. "Why is Ultimate Showdown so gay?" I will answer.

Everyone get your train wreck armor on, this might be fun but it also could probably easily become a flame fest.Lets hope its worthwhile somehow!

I animated that flash that lost it's hype months ago. If you are wondering why I made this thread, I tried to explain it in the original post. I want to be able to contact with people who hated it/liked it directly and just be able to have nothing left to say about it.

Originally there was going to be a flashback type thing to Mr. Rogers Killing Godzilla, but it turned out so terrible I just decided to make him cut himself open because it was much much easier. Yes, I was lazy as fuck. But I also at this point had no idea how immensely popular the flash would become.

Yeah he is from AD. I wasn't watching it at the time I am just a big fan of the show and needed more people there. Given AD's small but vocal fanbase I thought it would be a good "shout out"

I honestly really love it, it's hilarious and the animation completely trumps mine. How could anyone not love it?

Oh god no. I had absolutely no idea on any level. I was extremely surprised to see the success it had.

Probably not. There are better chances of me completely re-animating the original than trying to make a sequel. Neither are happening at the moment.

Ultimate Orgy was awesome, Gayest showdown wasn't that great but was kind of funny I suppose. I'm not angry at the people that made them or anything.

For a second I thought this might be a pretty funny parody post, and if it is I salute you. It does fit my guidelines so I would choose Magicarp. Assuming this flash is made in some sort of alternate universe where the existing ultimate showdown doesn't exist, we would have went with something ironic, like we did with the actual flash.

Because I am a lazy motherfucker and some parts I was putting in 0 effort and other parts I was putting in effort. I eventually got to a point where I just wanted to be done with it because I was bored of animating it. Strangely enough, this has happened on every flash I have ever made. I am lazy and impatient.

I didn't do the vocals for the flash, and I do not take singing classes.

It wasn't nearly as cliche and shit back then, he was only starting to get popular and we thought it would be funny. We didn't go with that ending because the song was too upbeat for a dun dun dun.

Yeah it's a pretty popular flash. What can I say? I've gotten e-mails from people trying to buy it, and shows that want to show it and stuff.

About a month between me and Neil, and it sort of spurred from a "what would be a good flash to make" conversation. It was planned to be a flash that the newgrounds audience would like, but they took to it a lot more than I expected.

The song was made to be made into an animation, and the animation was animated to the song.

Nothing is out of the question, but I am busy with another big project right now.

I put the music into a layer and animated along to it. It was pretyt simple, no breaking down of anything.
