This is a nifty little trick I invented awhile ago to animate stuff spinning through the air, randomly. It involves a symbol inside of a spinning symbol inside of a randomly spun and flipped symbol. What a bad sentance. Once you understand how it works you can have a lot of fun with it.
I'm not going to explain how it works, because the .swf explains it well enough, and I am also providing the .fla. Enjoy!

Where could this be used?
Confetti, snowflakes, slow motion cornflakes. Anywhere really, just most cases it would turn out bollocks.

Yeah, It's pretty much only useful for confetti or snowflakes, both of which I've used it for. But as I experiment with it more, I'll probably find more uses for it. For example, I'm already thinking of how to use the technique to make myself a better sig - a black hole that constantly spirals inward. all I have to do is tween the square closer and closer to the transformation point... or something.
Also, I thought this pic was so cool, I just had to post it. Threre's a mere 7 tweens in that thing. 6 for movement, 1 for the spinning.
that's a really cool effect. Maybe you could use it in an action game, for blood spurts? XD That would look really cool, red droplets of blood spinning and spraying everywhere.
