That picture looks like a fake one even though I think it's real. In Scotland it was forecast to be stormy but instead it has been snowy. So i'm happy.

I am rather worried. That same storm is ment to be heading towards Berlin. Where I happen to be.....

Although it must be hell for you, since it sounds like you're not used to Hurricanes, an 80mph storm is a wussicane compared to the stuff we get in the states and the caribbean. :( Wait until you get a 170mph beast, then consider yourselves screwed.

I'm sorry to hear about it, though. Being unprepared for a lesser event is sometimes worse than being prepared for a greater one.

It's actually not even a hurricane at those speeds.

80 MPH is only a Moderate Tropical Storm.

We've been having some stormy weather. I went sent home early from skewl because of it.

I never really felt it myself but apparently it was serious enough to blow off part of my house so that it'd fall straight into the greenhouse. D:

The balcony of a flat near my house collapsed. Lots of trees in my neighbourhood were blown out of the ground. On top of that, I heard whole amsterdam central station was shut down or something.

... school was cancelled today because of the wind though. Big yay.

Yeah... just like in Germany... but unfortunatly I live too far away from the coast to see the full power of this storm!

Seriously, I've heard stories about people flying of and gettign impaled on shit. But yeah, I had to go to school in that storm yesterday, thank god my dad offered me a ride and a friend's dad offered me a ride back, or I wouldn't have made it very far.

Oh well the less British people we have in the world the better I'll feel.

Too bad about Amsterdam getting trashed though, all that weed is going to be hard to track down if it gets blown away in the wind.
