Now that I've joined the brotherhood of question-answerers, I thought I'd put my OCD to use by making up a little simple list for informative purposes, so I went profile hunting. If any of you guys remembers what date you signed up to become a member, please post a reply here so I can add the date to your line in the file. Thanks muchly, any suggestions are also welcome. Oh, and if you want the file, let me know. I can e-mail or AIM it to you. The .txt that is, which looks a lot better than it will pasted here (damned tab-removal):

I subtracted 22 days from 4/18 and arrived at what I thought was the answer. Though with your time zone, I wasn't certain. #;-}>

Anyway, like I said, for informative purposes. i.e. someone changes their name, someone else wants to find their profile, bam, there's the userID so they don't have to worry about finding posts by them or anything... or say, someone wants to know who the members are that aren't posting much anymore, bam... there's the list. Didn't really fit in with the flow of Level Up! either, I didn't think. But anywho, if no one else notices the list after a couple hours, I'll say something in level up about it soon.

Yeah, I see your point. Comment withdrawn. Anyway, I just executed an investigation of my joining date, and I came up with the 28th of March. I'm 95% sure that's the correct answer, as I wrote the 36 day thing in my profile the day it was achieved. So unless I counted wrong just then, 28 March is my sign up date.

It's taken me since the 7th of April to get up to 1492. I don't think you can call that spamming by any stretch of the imagination. #;-}>

I could find out my sign-up date to the club, but that would mean trawling through many posts and quite frankly, i don't think i could be bothered.

Actually, it wasn;t that hard finding my sign-up date to the club/crew. I did a quick search on of the BBS and the date i signed up was on the second page on my search. It seems pretty long ago and it was on the 17th page of the 'level up' topic. The date was: 2/15/03.

I only do that if i definatly want them but i usally hold votes as most of you know also NGling if your reading care to reconsider?
I mean you dotn have to go put of your way as you help no matter what your a great candidate....

Also some guy kept bugging me for the rules so here they are....

Rules
Must have over 20 posts (In any board, better chance if in where is/how to)
Must have the desire to help (Want to help people)
Must visit the forum regularly (At least 3 times a week)
Members can only be in 4 maximum clubs (No club whores!)
Must have experience on the board (About 3 weeks)
Information and help given out must be accurate
Don’t discuss where to get Rom’s, serial numbers or flash for free (illegal you could be banned plus we get in shit with NG)

Anything member think should be added or abolished please contact me and ill see to it that it will be considered....

I think he basically answered that when he said "If I were into joining clubs..", thereby implying that he's not.

Anyway, it's a real shame. I considered Newgrundling as one of the most valuable potential members to the club in all of NG. I guess it's not really a huge loss though, he does still help people out, he's just not formally a member of the club.

I find it quite amazing, though I have looked through some of the old pages of levelup before I start posting in it... that after being created in the fall, by midFebruary it only had 17 pages, and then two months later, it has 115. heh... what a rapid expansion.

As he said, he just won't join any clubs. But then again, I'm the same way, even when it comes to clubs about things I enjoy and like quite a lot, but... I made an exception for Wi/Ht? because I felt it was worthwhile, and the only worthwhile one to join at that.

In any event, he helps us out. Let us consider him an ally to the cause, at least. #;-}>

Anyway, come on, peops, this offtopic tangent is quite interesting, but no one but Mr James and leeboy has given me their Wi/Ht? membership date. Lightning doesn't remember, at least, he said to ask you, Spancker. Got any idea? Even if it's just which page of level up it was on, or thereabouts, I could take a look. I suppose I should just read the whole topic through at some point. heh.

Try looking on pages 15-17 before the big jump if notthere then its in the 20's i believe..... when i talk about forming the club or when drimarki says hes in it should be the day before as i joined him up the next day.....

there's the full list, complete with everyone's membership signup date, hopefully accurate. In compiling all the dates, I just spent a few hours reading pages 1-24 of levelup while watching TV and trying to keep up on the portal as well. As far as I can tell, I've got the dates correct. The relevant pages, BTW, are:

17 - 1 and 2 (spancker and drimarki)
18 - 3 and 4 (Recon, you actually joined up 3 days later, and then leeboy finally relented and said okay, too, the day after)
23 - 5 (mentioned that it happened the previous day via e-mail I assume)
24 - 6 and 7 (mentioned by spancker, can't tell what day it happened, assumed the same day he posted)
72 - 8 (yep, you were right, James)
108 - 9 (well duh, I know my own signup date #;-}>)
