I will be argued for placing Harding so high up ont he 'bad list' but his greatest weakness was merely the fact that he did nothing and could not say 'no. He himself may not have been a man of bad character..besides the having alcohol snuck into the White House during Prohibition, having the IRS escort his wife out so the mistresses could come in, and being caught fucking Nan Britten in a coat closet.. (TAKE THAT BILL!) I get a kick out of this fellow everytime, althought most nations would'v long ago erased him from the history books. But hey, he did free Eugene Debs and other political prisoners from the Wilson era, perhaps that should be his legacy.

Andrew Jackson- Why Jackson? For crushing the National Bank and disobeying the Supreme Court in their decision against the Cherokees (One doesn't realize how significant this is, but it could've totally shut the judicial branch out by executive decision.) Let's not forget his introduction of the spoils system..His tendencies towards being a dictator in Congress, etc could've been bad for the future of the republic as well.

John Adams- John Adams folks. He nearly put us into civil war in 1798 w/ the Alien and Sedition Acts, which banned curtailed free speech and disallowed for immigrants to speak out lest they be deported (I will explain the roots of this law if anyone asks, otherwise let it be known that it was a 'national security' law that was used to crushed domestic opposition....) Just one act in many that almost made the Federalist party the sole party in the US. Does this smell like the tryings of a one-party dictatorship?

Pierce/Buchanan- Pierce for idly sitting by while the country ripped itsself apart. If he was in so much grief for his son, he should have stepped down, he clearly was not emotionally stable enough for the presidency..Buchanan was just as Blue said..colorless, was not the man that the nation needed at this hour,like Pierce.

Nixon- A pure and simple criminal. Any man who has his roots sitting next to Joe McCarthy in the great 50's witchhunts should've raised a few brows in the 1970's. Sure, he reopened Mao's China to the world alongside Kissenger and got us the fuck out of Vietnam after putting us even further in. I'm not sure Clinton was for the overall ban on guns, however, I am aware of plenty of liberals who are. I'm for the 2nd admendment, but against letting just anyone have a gun. It's amazing how people bash Clinton for his affair. Roosevelt had an affair, Kennedy was a nympho in hindsight, Harding had one.. It's a shame that Clinton will most likely be remembered for this and his subsequent impeachment, as he did lead us through a economic boom, and was a key player in one of the greater periods on US Diplomatic relations.
