...but a record.

BURR RIDGE, Illinois (AP) -- George Hood may have pedaled his way into the Guinness Book of World Records on Saturday night.

The 49-year-old Aurora resident began riding a stationary bike at the Five Seasons Sports Club in Burr Ridge at 4 a.m. Wednesday and surpassed the previous record of 82 hours by 8:28 p.m. Saturday. He stopped several minutes before midnight after completing his goal of 85 hours.

Attention: Riding a stationary bike for 85 hours makes you stupid, not heroic.

Here I am, bored with everything.

Wonder if his legs are numb...

does that mean he went 4 days without sleep, with only 2 hours of rest, spread out over those 4 days for a rest?

He's my hero; I tried using those stationary bikes and I almost died from AIDS halfway through. :(

But it's a huge amount of endurance, while at the same time minimizing impact damage to joints. I can't even imagine how hard it would be to ride a bike for 85 hours! I can't even stay up that long while sitting around doing nothing! How the heck am I supposed to perform physical activity for more then 4 days straight!?

It may also change the shape of your balls and arse. Ride with caution.

I wonder how much he was actually pedaling, I would assume something around 60 rotations per minute. He really had to be in shape, or just have a mini fridge next to him.
