What is the problem with gays ?

Since I am on the BBS, I have seen dozens of threads about gay marriage, gay people and homosexuality.
Why so much interest about them ?
They don't annoy anybody with their homosexuality.

In Europe and maybe in America too, millions of scummy people are breaking, burning, hurting, robbing everything which is white or asian. However, I can't see any thread about them. Why this miss ? Why do you think gays are more important than scummy people and millions of immigrants who shouldn't stay in our countries ?

B. Americans have fairly firm views on how the world should operate. Our religion and our common sense tell us how sex should happen. Gays are a deviation, a disturbance in the American worldview, and are in conflict with the American Dream. They are "unnatural" and "in need of a cure" because they break the basic social rules of our society and try to change the way we live into something to suit themselves (Gay Marrage).

This set of reasons explains another major chunk of the reactions against gays. They are a deviation to many people, who do not which to support anything which doesn't fit. This is the same reason why "Outsiders" are often harassed or fought with.

C. The political proponents of Gays are often reviled. They have general attitudes which people disagree with, so those same people will react negatively against Gays as well.

This usually applies to people who argue against the supporters of Gay Marriage, who dislike radical liberals, and in general believe that our society is not a craphole that must be totally reformed with welfare and universal healthcare and communism.

That is completely untrue. Judaism, Christianity and Islam all emerged from THE MIDDLE EAST. But the middle east wasn't dominated by Arabs forever, actually its only been about 1000 years that Arabs were the predominant ethnic group.

In fact, even as late as the time of muhammad, the predominant ethnicity was Hebrew. So technically the 3 Abrahamic religions stemmed from ethnic Jews. When the Jews were displaced by the Ottomans, only then did Arabs become the predominant ethnic gorup.

Personally I wouldn't find it to unlikely that few people are completely straight or gay; I think it's more likely that it's more like a spectrum where one side is gay and the other is straight, with bisexuals in the middle.

I agree that the bombing of Dresden was a disgusting mistake, something which should not be forgiven or looked past as lightly as it is (though it was an Allied war crime, not just American). The Nazis aren't demonized as often as they were in the past currently. When it comes to the Holocaust, they may be, but movies like the Pianist recently and the Great Escape in the past show a very human side of the Nazis; as did Schindler's List, despite also demonizing them (possibly not inaccurately though).

So rather than believing something as universally accepted as history (though that of course wouldn't be the only reason to believe it) you choose to believe something right out of the mouth of a televangelistic propaganda spouting nationalist pro-Nazi website? Actually, we don't. The ramp theory is only one of many on how Egyptians built the pyramids. While it is agreed on that freemen and farmers were employed for civil projects during the flood season and after the harvest, most competant anthropologists, archeologists, and historians aren't exactly sure how the pyramids were built. Apart from the ramp theory, there are ideas such as scaffolding, and even primitive cranes (we know the Egyptians understood the idea of counterweights- see shadufs). Wood was at a premium, so using it to haul two-ton stones woudn't be cost effective.

Even then, while Egypt had a unified state, writing, a tax system, a flourishing economy, and all the other things that make a state a state, people in Europe were still wearing fur (it's cold up there), and just beginning to make permanent residences and the things we consider as the basis for civilization. This is just in northern Europe (typically considered "white" Europe).
