Welcome to the Armor Gaming Challenge #5! After the previous gaming challenges, Armor Games is back for yet another challenge contest. There are several major awards, plus several misc prizes for monthly and other challenges.
Grand Prize: $8,000
1st Place : $5,000
2nd Place: $4,000
3rd Place: $3,000
4th Place: $2,000
5th Place: $1,000
6th to 10th: $500 Each
Contest Rules and Game Guidelines
1.) Create a NEW unique flash game or a NEW unique sequel. The game must be original and you cannot submit multiple versions of the same game with small changes. Each game must be either a completely new and unique or a completely new and unique sequel to a game. The games must be original and CANNOT have anything to do with copyrighted materials. Games cannot have anything to do with (Nintendo, Sony, Lord of the Rings, King Author, etc) Games must be new, unique and original. Music must also not be Non-copyrighted. Your games must NOT contain music from any copyrighted soundtrack, musician or artist.
2.) Include the words "ArmorGames.com" in the pre-loader of your game along with a "Armor Games " intro animation. Intro animation can also be downloaded on this page towards the bottom as well. (Click Here)***
3.) Include a "Visit ArmorGames.com" or "Play more Games" link on the menu of the game. The link must open "ArmorGames.com" in a new window when clicked on. You must also include a "Visit ArmorGames.com" or "Play more Games" on the GAME OVER menu as well.
4.) E-mail the ArmorGames Staff the link to the game on Newgrounds after you finish. We will keep track of the Game Name, Author, NG score, and it's current rank position in the contest. The game will then be judged for 1-week by the users of NG before it's final score is locked in. This is done to aviod people from constantly voting for their own entry in an effort to change the score. (E-mail the Staff your Game)
5.) Games must receive @ least 1,000 views to be eligible for entry into the contest.
6.) Games must be submitted by May 15th 2007. On May 25th 2007, the top games with the highest NG score will be awarded the prizes. All prizes will be paid by June 10th via Paypal or Check. In the event of a tie, the entry with the most views will earn the prize.
7.) By submitting a game entry, Armor Games is allowed to distribute the game on its website, as well as other suitable web pages. Armor Games will NEVER claim authorship of the game.*
8.) An author may submit as many games as they like.**
* All rights for submitted Entries belong to ArmorGames.com and the game's author, ArmorGames reserves the right to submit these games to flash based websites. ArmorGames will never claim production credit on your games. ArmorGames will NEVER sell your games . Also, Armorgames staff is not allowed at the Armor Gaming Challenge. All games submitted become joint rights of ArmorGames and the Author. Games submitted for prizes can still be entered in other contest as long as they remained unchanged and contain the 'Armor Games' logos and links.
**Multiple games will give an author a better chance of wining. He/She may collect the number of prizes equel to the number of game entries they submit.
***Winners of over $600 located within the US, must fill out a W9 form before prizes will be awarded.
