Has anyone done any of their own?
Like, 2 months ago, I started my own series, now with 4 episodes, called "Conamation".
here's the only one I've put up on Newgrounds that survived, which is, surprisingly, the first one.
I also submitted 2 and 3, but I made lots of changes to number 3 so I will probobally re-submit.
To find them all, go to
http://youtube.com/profile?user=coghlankid7

(see, I did good there... didn't even advertise my site!! (sigg!))

I gotta think of something to do in it though.
I have like, 10 ideas written down, but I can't decide which one...

stop-motion animation sucks

If you can't find a door, make one. Because it certainly won't fucking make itself.

Moved on?
It's not like it's an inferior thing to the all-mighty 'other things'.
It can be just as good, and just as fun, as anything else that could be done.
(wow, I rhymed).
Honestly though, my first two sentences might sound a bit offending if you're 'sensitive,' but I didn't mean anything by it.

Most stop mostion sucks -- the only way you, or anyone else, will make a good stop motion is with a lot of money at your disposal for lighting, materials, software, voice actors, good hardware, a lunchbox timer, etc.

Stop-motion filming can be really fun to watch. If you haven't already, you should check out Warriors of Aidoios (there's a second part as well). Two things noticeable instantly in the first part are the water flow and grass movement in the beginning. It looks amazing.

In your film, you should have made the car do some stunts such as driving up a wall/around the ceiling or drive through some loops. It would take a while to pull everything off, but I'm sure you'd be happy with what you made, and it would make a more entertaining short. The one you have now though is pretty neat. :)

Yeah, they can be really fun to watch, man.
How would I pull off those stunts?
I need help if I want to live up to my own standards, which include doing cool things like the ones you mentioned.
Please help me if you can :)

I'd say just sticky the car to the wall by using some kind of tape (kind depends on how heavy your car is). I've never done this personally, but I'm sure you could pull it off.

Damn! I should have thought of that!!
Thanks!
I have some duct tape lying around, and i've been so creative with it lately, what, with creating 2 wallets, a purse, and a jacket, that you would THINK that it would cross my mind to do that!
ahaha
damn, i'm stupid.

I would seriously consider not stop-motion filming actions that can easily be done with filming. When it's such an obvious thing like you walking in your room or doing that arm thing, it just makes you look stupid. Also, you film at too low a framerate, its sad but true. I'd say try doing some actions that you know would be near impossible to do without stop-motion (ie. writing with your fingertip, having your fingers act like scissors, do the moonwalk, pull an everlasting string out of your mouth or huge objects out of there like cds or something.
