PS3 Problem

K so I got my PS3 and I want to paly at the highest definition possible. Naturally, I want to use HDMI. So I've got my HDMI cable, plug it into the PS3. Where does the other side go? Don't say the T.V. My high-def T.V has an HDMI port, but it's already taken up by my Zenith Satelite box for hdtv. Do I need to unplug the HDMI cable from the box everytime I want to switch from the console to the PS3 or is there something I'm missing. What I want is to be able to hook it up so I can turn off the high-def PS3 and then watch HDTV.
