Alright, I need to stop doing covers, and I'm a bit on an artist slump for writing music. I know what makes a good song, but I have no idea what a key signature, counter melody, and some other stuff are. I have a huge imagination wanting to spill onto a guitar but I don't have any ideas. Once I have ideas I write easier. If you can give me an idea, I'll put your name in the submission. It has to be either any kind of metal or rock. Also, any tips in general on writing music?

Well I mess around with a lot of stuff but it sounds... unsatisfying
