I know what we should do, as americans. since none of us, except a few zionist jews, actually live in israel, we should STAY THE HELL OUT OF IT. Who says the palestinians and jews dont share a common ancestor? Most muslims make a claim to abraham as a forefather, as do the jews. I think if all the jews would convert to islam, none of this would be an issue. I could be wrong, but if israel is right in the religious sense, then God will protect them without US aid. if they ARE wrong in the religious sense, then they should convert to a true religion, preferrably one that is shared by their neighbors. Of course, Im just a facist warmonger, what would I know?

The jews lived there for hundreds of years before the palestinians, so technically it is thier forefathers land.

Actually the Hewbrew tribes ame at about the same time as the Gentiles, so they have equal claim.

The land was lost in a war, and those that wish to complain about precedents should blame their governments and armies for losing that land through their aggression.

You can't seriously be condoning the idea that territory can be lost and gained through wars are you? That's just imperialism.

Well to some it is quasi-imperialism because it's taking land away in war. However, the Israelis justify it by saying it used to be their territory.
I'd be happy to compromise with you and say that Israel should return to the 1967 boundaries. That received UN approval.

One, not all territory gained has been through wars in self-defence. Two, I think losing in a war is considered punishment enough.

justifying anything through opinion never makes it right, i don't agree with the Israeli counter agression lol, but i'm all for the ass-whooping it inflicts when other nations invade...but there must be some form of reparations.
