hmm okay, for the next COW entry, i will do a step by step! That will be easier than explaining it, but I DO have a method now for most of my drawings, at least in the coloring sense! As for the puppy dog, I can't draw them nearly as well as you can!

Maybe ill make an "Awesomesaurus-Dog" one day :) Thanks for the comment!

Well its a day before COW 29 ends, so i might as well start it eh?

Step 1) I sketch out my creature, first using basic shapes, then defining characteristics, being as creative as I can!

This was just a practice of anatomy and shading, straight from memory, no reference.

I can really see how i've improved since taking figure drawing, even though my proportions are still off a bit, I fell happy! If you have the chance to take the class, DO IT.

Hmmmmm not bad, the heads a little big for the body and the shoulders are a little broad for the broad (lol) but other then that i'd hit.=]

thanks PonZ. I see what you mean! Hopefully soon I will be able to just throw down perfect anatomy on paper without a model or reference. Meh, I have time and patience.
