You people are no better than him by laughing at and worshipping the hanging video. If you heard that he video'd people being killed and then later watching it for his own viewing pleasure you'd think the guy was sick. THAT IS EXACTLY WHAT YOU ARE DOING!
He was an evil man, i'm not implying that he wasn't, but I don't think he should have been executed because I don't believe that we can legally kill each other under the laws of capital punishment. It has only exacerbated the conflict in Iraq and straight after his death there were large car explosions and unrest and so on.
What really annoys me is when people say 'Oh, those Iraqi's will never be civilised people, they will all kill each other.' The vast majority of Iraqi's are normal people like ourselves and they just want to live in peace as we do and live in a country that has a proper democracy.
So what i'm really driving at is don't act like a bunch of sick, twisted idiots (it's not that offensive but thats what you's are, idiots) who are masterbating over a video of a fallen dictator being hanged. He has atoned for his sins and is quits now, let's just leave it at that.

That's probably from pressure applied by the noose. It decapitated his half-brother when he was hanged (which made the shi'ite coalition look even worse). Lets hope you don't find that video too.

On second thought, I wouldn't say they're AS bad as Sadam Hussein. Reveling over an execution video doesn't compare to a genocide, but it's still saddistic. The way you guys glorify this event is shameful.
He was executed and I'm not going to show opposition to that. But the poor job that the U.S. and Iraqi government did with his trial and his execution needs to be addressed. Saddam was made into a martyr because of this video, and the last thing I want is a dictator being seen that way. This event only fuels tensions in Iraq and that cannot be emphasized enough.

Well, watching a man getting hung is a pretty disturbing thing... regardless of the consequences/ reasons. In my view, Saddam should have been imprisoned as a prisoner of war, and not hung; it was his country after all.

Always remember: when they were sworn in, the Iraqi government stated they would abolish the death penalty. Someone told them to reverse that decision, obviously.

well, just because saddam ruled over the country with a, iron fist and an unstoppable ego, doesn't mean he can just go around massacring people at will. personally, i believe he almost got what he deserved. personally i think hanging was too good for him. they should have rounded up relatives of some of the people he killed, an put him in an locked room with them and let them... deal with him.

First look up the term racism and you will find that it is in fact “a belief or doctrine that inherent differences among the various human races determine cultural or individual achievement, usually involving the idea that one's own race is superior and has the right to rule others.” There is no racism as far as I can see…now to the point as far as this video is concerned yes it is gruesome but the human mind is inherently curious of death. We all know it is inevitable but some may find comfort in the ability to watch a death and see “the face” of death…we all watch these new prime time TV showes and movies (saw series) how are they any worse. And don’t try to argue that just because it was a real person makes it any different you may say its sadistic but this video of sadam arose for the vary same reason the horror movie industry is still going strong we all find it at least slightly interesting to see death.

This was the very reason that all media was banned from being there. This media frenzy and all the curious minds looking at it have only served as a vehicle for sadam to cause killings and death IN HIS DEATH and for this reason i dont agree with the careless release of the video
