retard you say Hitler was mercyful but he wasn't so i was proving you wrong.
lol retard I wasnt
I said he was mercyfull in that particular situation! pretty clear!
also yes the French do act as if they won WW2 single handedly, they act as if surrandering to the Germans was a ploy. and the free french, if they arn't the piinnicle of arrogence i don't know what was.
Were do you all get this information from? I really do not believe the french think they won WII on there own, that would be a bit naive would it. It seems that it is just an image america has made. I never met a frenchman who in anyway talked bad about america considering WWII (they do talk bad on other stuff)
youre just saying shit, proof it to me and ill shut my mouth, otherwise you do!

I wonder if there's any valid reason to hate the French. all of the reasons I've seen here and heard elsewhere so far are bogus and about as tenable as a sandcastle in a hurricane.

You don't know "why" some people hate the french, you don't. The simple truth is, is that most Americans have never been to France, or even gone outside America for that matter.
I'm going to use how you hate the president. You've never met the president, but it's what he's done that causes you to hate him. Same can be said about Americans hating the French. They don't hate French people, they just don't like them in general based on how their government runs things or certain things about what French do.
So now I could also tell you, most europeans have never been to America, or even gone outside of Europe for that matter.
I can't have a political opinion of someone because I haven't met with them face to face? That is the most idiotic statement I've heard in a long time. You make me lawl.
I guess some people can't read
Quit quoting and do it.

grrr. i would flame you but i have a new question. should Britain really be considered part of Europe? i mean we have developed completely sepratly from the continent and are very different from the rest of Europe (well we were before globalisation). we may be an Island but we became a nation separate from other countries and we are a damn big island lol

The blood of the english has mingled with that of EVERY European country throughout it's history. Just look at the massive amount of marriages there were between english and french. Hell a 20 minute boat ride over the river can.t be all that dissuasive.

Yea, But British culture is completly different than from the Mainland. Britains much more similar to the US, Canada and australia.
So It doesn't really make much sense when americans .etc Lump us with europeans.
I wouldn't s Talk about the US, mexico an Brazil as the same thing, But basically, US is from Britain, Mexico from Spain an Brazil from portugal.
Compared to Chinese or Indian culture then we are european but then so are the americas an australia.

Not in excess, in general.
To quote Aus-Rotten:
"Nationalistic pride is fucking shit, why can't these people see, that as long as flags fly above us, no one's really free,"
