Holy shit! When did Michael Cole shave his beard?

I'm curious to see what Vickie has up her sleeve for JBL. I hope it's some sort of 3v1 handicap match or something of the sorts.

To be honest this Orton/HHH storyline is not very intriguing. Wrestlemania is 4 weeks away, so it's not too late to add a little bit of the right spice to it.

I'm too damn lazy to make a decent sig right now.

Judging from the way things seem to be going, let's hopes it's not a two-on-one...her versus Big Show and JBL. If you know what I mean.

At first, I was like *vomit*.

But then, I was like *LOL*.

I must admit, Vickie smacking Show's ass made me laugh like a maniac.

Show standing there in the ring like, "Oh fuck, what do I do?" This is why I love the WWE.

Christian wins the battle royal on ECW to earn a spot in MITB. Finlay wins on SD! to earn his spot.

Final MITB lineup is Christian, CM Punk, Kofi Kingston, Finlay, Kane, Mark Henry, Shelton Benjamin and MVP. I'll be honest, I'm pulling for Christian on this one. Maybe he'll be rewarded for his exceptional performance since his comeback.

I'd just like to remind people that when responding to spoilers please post a warning, or just wait until the show airs so the people who don't want the results can avoid them.

Having read them though, it seems clear there's only 3 possible MITB winners this year, Punk again, MVP, or a participant who hasn't been officially entered yet. I think of that 3, I'd whittle it down to only two (MVP, or our unnamed man). I could see doing it with Punk again, but probably only if I want him to lose in a competitive bout and perhaps do it as he loses in Chicago where he's always managed to pull out big wins and he just snaps and turns heel. But I'm not sure that route is best to be honest, MVP is getting momentum back, and the unnamed guy I think is also got some momentum with him and there's some interesting and varied directions you can go there. I'm not sure how the match will come off as a whole (since you've got some guys who are good for this sort of match, and couple who aren't), but we do have three pretty equal candidates to go with here at the finish, all guys who could use that break out push and if not set up to fail could make the most of that. That's what I expect out of this sort of bout.

Funniest possible WM scenario:

Edge loses his championship in the first match.

Edge attacks Kofi and takes his place in the money in the bank.

Edge wins money in the bank.

Edge takes advantage of an exhausted Champion after the final match and cashes in his money in the bank to win the championship!!

While I enjoyed Raw for the most part, I felt it was way too predictable. With the exception of the diva match which I really didn't pay much attention too, I was able to guess the outcome of the matches as well as the HHH/Orton situation and the Edge/Cena/Big Show thing. Heck I called that being made a triple threat in a previous post. I will admit I laughed when Viki slapped Show's ass. Funny stuff.

While I'm not happy with the IC title change, I can sort of see why they did it. I found an article on wrestlezone that explains a different way to look at this and see why WWE would put that title on JBL. Here.

Who do you think JBL should defend against at WM if he gets a match?

I'm looking forward to ECW tonight so I can see who will win that battle royal. I know a spoiler was posted but I'm ignoring it. Thank you for the warning.

Tonight will be the first time that I actually watch ECW as a whole program. I'm personally excited about the battle royal because it is Tri-branded and has many different superstars, with more than a few with an actual legitimate chance of winning.

I'd like to see them defy expectation though and keep the belt on Edge, but if they plan to flip it to Orton (which would really be the only way to save his push and what not at this point) I can't see them going that route. One heel could probably win, but not 2. Unless again they really are looking to defy the expectations here.

I think it's very plausible that Orton and Edge will win their respective title matches. This allows the winner of MITB to challenge for one of the titles later in the night. One possibility is having the briefcase cashed in on Edge and Edge losing the Championship as sort of an ironic twist to when Edge used it on Cena years ago.

For edge i really don't think he will stay the world heavyweight champ, because as of late WWE wants to "shake things up" and have that championship move to raw and have a fued to see what championship will go to smackdown or if HHH retains his title and moves to raw as planned it will be interesting to see what will happen. Oh also i got tickets to a live Raw in buffalo, my first Raw ever @;-}>

I haven't seen any reports on Umaga and his possible injury so maybe he's ok. I do know we are going to see Evan Bourne next week. It will be good to see him back and I hope WWE continues the little push they were giving him.

I really enjoyed ECW last night. The matches they had wre top notch from start to finish. I'm really glad Christian will be part of the MITB match as he will add a great deal to it. I'm still rooting for MVP, but I think there are several wrestlers in that match who are qualified to win.

christian seems most deserving to me, although i wouldn't mind seeing MVP take the briefcase, but it just seems like he's more in the US title picture right now

i was very suprised that Kozlov was eliminated so early into the match, and that Chavo Guerrero was one of the final 2

Same here. Chavo has done better on ECW in the past since he did hold the title for a little while but yeah with his recent jobber ways it was a suprise to see him last as long as he did. its a shame that so many of us just look at Chavo as enhancement talent since the dude is obviously talented.

My only problem with the battle royal was the rapid fire eliminations at the start. Glad to see Christian winning. I doubt it will happen, but I'd like to see Christian win the MITB, then cash it in against Edge later in the night.

Christian has just not gotten over the way they wanted. I think part of it is they're fault because they've done nothing to re-educate the audience about who he is and what his past with the company is. I think they dramatically over-estimated that they had an audience base that remembers a mid-card guy from the Attitude era who was a mid-carder who fucked off elsewhere (and for most fans just utterly disappeared) from TV 3 years ago. Can't see them giving Christian the win here unless they're going to start pushing the hell out of him and reminding the fans who he is real soon. To me the most likely scenario looks like it goes to MVP and they continue to build him as a strong babyface on his way up to the belt (could this wind up being a repeat of what they tried to do with Kennedy? A guy who will wait until next year's Mania to cash in?)

WWE could still suprise us in that match. Sure I'd like MVP to win, but Benjamin also has a good shot in terms of guys who could use a push to the next level with a big win. However there is a possibility that WWE will give the win to someone like Mark Henry. I don't think he's ever been in a ladder match. It will be interesting to see who gets it.

The way I see it happening Kane and MVP are the two most likely to win the MITB. (or edge as I noted earlier)

You can count on plenty of high spots involving benjamin, christian and kofi.

Kane is always good as a "transitional" champ which is all the mitb winner seems to be. Whoever beats him in the end looks strong.

MVP I don't want to see winning it, but it just seems logical as he is probably the person closest to ME status.

I want to see Christian win!
It won't happen, He will go on to win the ecw title.. hold it for a few months then lose it to an upcoming talent to build them (probably kidd the way things are going) then move to smackdown.

I've been meaning to ask this.. With Christian now in the MITB, where does that leave Jack Swagger and the ECW title? Will we get another pre-show battle royal (With the winner facing Swagger at WM), or will Swagger begin a feud with Evan Bourne, who's supposed to return next week?

It's almost certain that Bourne will start a feud with Swagger next week. With all of Swagger's contenders now in MitB (even Mark Henry), there's no other logical choice for a challenger left on the brand other than Bourne. Plus they've been heavily pushing his return on the show, so it's inevitable really.

I don't know about that. The last time we saw Bourne he was attacked by Mike Knox. Plus there is still Finley for Swagger to contend with as well as Dreamer though a WM match between them is highly unlikely. Both Rey and Knox don't have a match yet for WM so there is a possibility that Rey and Bourne could tag against Knox and somebody else.

I think you either do Bourne, or you try to build Dreamer up a bit and send him in there. Those are my top two thoughts.

The only other thing I can see is having some kind of battle royal with the winner getting a shot, because everyone else on the ECW roster right now seems and feels too much like a guy that isn't "there" yet, not even as a no.1 contender let alone someone who might beat Swagger (and honestly, I don't think they should be in any hurry for Swagger to drop soon).
