Yes, The Boogeyman has been released

I'm actually a little suprised by this. They had been using Boogey every week since his return and he didn't lose very often. I guess WWE came to realize that he sucks in the ring and the character can only go so far. He did grab people attention though, I'll give him that. At least now they can use the time he was given on some of the upcoming talent.

Then again he's mucked his push up a bit with his 'recreational activities' apparently, but I won't stop hoping for a MitB with his inclusion.

The Brian Kendrick? if so i agree, he would of been an awesome inclusion to that match!

meh, really couldn't care less.. i lost faith in the character ages back.. the gimmick got really strung out and stale, i bet even wwe could see this when they put him in a segment with Donald Trump at WM23
for those of you who never saw, Trump was sitting in his office with Ms USA whatever when the lights dimmed and the Boogeyman came from behind and hits the old "im the boogeyman!" line, not even the slightest bit intimidated Trump tells the Boogeyman to go get a sandwich for him, The Boogeyman breaks out of character and simply replies "ok..." and walks off.

pretty much after that Boogeyman sunk down from the spotlight getting drafted to the "C show" ECW then disappearing for a long while

What purpose did he serve? He's often injured, lousy in the ring, and they have a comedy/mascot character in Hornswoggle. The big reason he was resigned anyway was a favor to Booker T, so he's lucky he hung on as long as he did without Book around.

I really don't want to see my favorite heel Jericho fighting someone like Lawler (no offense to him, but...well, come on) or even Hulk Hogan (despite him being one of my childhood heroes). It looks like it'll go that way, but pfft, I think he deserves a bit better than that when he finally gets the beatdown that he deserves.

Ah, well, being beaten by the Hulkster would be better than more parking lot shit. Marginally.

I like the boogeyman, I think that this is really lame.
It's been awesome with him actually getting a decent string of matches together.
I always use him in the smackdown video games.

I think they could release Hawkins and Ryder since they haven't been used in the longest time. I can't even remember when they were on tv last. Jessie and Festus aren't being used as much either so they might end up being let go as well.

BTW I wasn't defending the Boogeyman in my last post. I knew he didn't have a lot going for him but I was suprised by his release just the same.

Hawkins and Ryder should absolutely hide out in catering now. Without being in the Edge storyline they've been screwed to just .com appearances. Jessie and Festus might be safe because Hayes will push for them since:

A) The team is his brainchild

B) Jesse is his old tag partner Terry Gordy's son

I know that doesn't guarantee anything (especially if Mania doesn't do well) but I think that would put them much farther down the list then a lot of people.

BTW I wasn't defending the Boogeyman in my last post. I knew he didn't have a lot going for him but I was suprised by his release just the same.

It was odd he was kind of getting pushed, then cut. It would have made more sense to get rid of him on his last injured stint, but who knows, maybe this is something where he did something really bad in the back (he is known for living his gimmick) and they just said "enough is enough".

I actually thought wwe was going somewhere with Hawkins and Ryder, i thought they were going to break up since Ryder has been becoming retarded with some Woo Woo quote he does now, and Hawkins always seems to be unimpressed... you know how they did it with Cade and Murdoch

Also wasn't Festus in a storyline with Maria? what ever happened to that? i don't care if its a shitty love storyline, just keep him on tv, he's a pretty amazing wrestler

So they released the Boogeyman, who was being used quite frequently on 'ole ECW, winning matches regularly, yet they keep 'talent' such as Kizarny around, putting him soley on dark matches and pointless promos (knizzock knizzock!)? What a world!

Or should I say "universe," rather...

Just wait till after Mania dude. There's always some bleeding and cutting after Mania, and with the way this show is shaping up, I think the buyrate will be way less then the past couple years, meaning way more on the bubble talents will be cast aside and hitting the road. To me there's probably more to the Boogeyman story then we currently know, or are going to know right now (considering how crazy on leaks Vince is right now).

I had to go and see what you were talking about. I've never even heard of this guy and yet he's been on the SD roster? Yeah. Either cut him or send him to ECW to get some exposure or send him back to the developmental territory. If you have guys on the roster that people have almost never seen it's time to re-think what you are doing.

If I remember right, he debuted as a jobber, the same week as Scotty Goldman debuted as a jobber, and Braddock never had a chance to show if he had charisma or not.

Once again, another guy that should probably ask for his profile to be removed, and be very very quiet at shows if he wants to keep his checks coming in :)

I think they handled the situation with Matt and Jeff very well last night. Now that both of them are out of the MITB they are sure to finally have a match at WM.

I'm glad MVP made it into that match. He's the guy I'm proably going to root for in that match. Although Benjamin is a good choice too. I think he's been in all of them so it's about time he wins it.

I have to admit I thought Cena going out and laying waste to that contract signing was fun to watch. Apparently he's not out of the title picture yet as he seems to have something up his sleeve.

I'm calling it now; I bet that Show's got Vickie pregnant and Cena's found out somehow.

On Friday you know that match with Umaga and HHH? Remember when Umaga jumped out of the ropes and was holding is his knee/leg? He might of hurt something in his knee, people live at the event saw the refs holding the X sign which means a wrestler is legit injured, I hope he doesn't go back on the injury list, again.

It could be disastrous, especially at a time of year when WWE goes into cost cutting mode. The last thing Umaga needs is for the company to think he's injury prone, let's face it, he's a very good worker but a somewhat limited character and a few years out from when he really super duper mattered in the storylines.

I hope he's ok. It would suck for him to be hurt right after coming back not long ago. I don't think WWE would fire him because of it, because if that was the case Mr. Kennedy would have been gone a long time ago.

I just got tickets for the April 13th show! Draft night on Raw. Yeah!

But with Kennedy they felt he was a sure fire main eventer in the future. I do hear that Umaga is well liked, but in the end how long can that really last you? Kennedy is now in a position where many in the company think he's on the bubble due to all the injuries, if your out hurt all the time, they can't make money with you. I don't care who you are (unless maybe you're family) if the promoter can't make money with you, you aren't very useful to the promoter.

So unless I totally misread the situation, looks like Cena will blackmail his way into the title match based on Vickie apparently had or is having, an affair with Big Show...wow I don't really want to see that story I don't think, but it could make Edge a face, and that might be an interesting change of pace.

Kinda ironic seeing as how we were just talking about that huh? I did a little research and found the only notable thing this guy has done was be bound up in duct tape by Jessie and Festus.

Tonight I'm sure we'll see someting about that contract signing and my guess is that Cena will be added to the match somehow. Either they will do a triple threat or exclude Big Show.

There is supposed to be 8 participants in the MITB this year right? I wonder who will fill the last few spots?

What if, let's say after Mania when all of that Orton stuff blows over, they bring back Rated RKO for a week or two? It's sort of obvious that they have a relationship story line with Vickie and Big Show which will most likely end up getting Edge and Vickie divorced and Cena and Edge going after the title. But what if Orton wins the WWE Title, and Cena goes after him (Making the WWE Championship and the World Heavyweight switch brands finally), would that be strong enough to bring Rated RKO back?

Or they could keep doing this storyline with Orton and Hunter, and in one match they could be like "You pick one guy, and I'll pick one guy. You, me, ring, 2 minutes. Go." And it ends up being DX vs. Rated RKO.

These seem like strong storylines to bring this stable back up, but the problem is I think the Orton vs. McMahons storyline has gotten too personal for any petty Tag Team matches. Though I do think Rated RKO needs to make a comeback...

World Wrestling Entertainment has come to terms on the release of Smackdown Superstar Kizarny as of today, March 19, 2009. WWE wishes Kizarny the best in all future endeavors.

In my opinion, a waste of time and alot of work was put into his character to say the least.

Fuckitey fuck fuck fuck. Will ya look at that? JBL is IC champ. I really hope this doesn't set Punk up to win MITB.

Let's see how Kofi vs. Jericho turns out. WWE could pull a fast one and have Jericho win the match, but I don't see that happening.

I'm too damn lazy to make a decent sig right now.
